Jaehyun glanced at the other beside him. He was looking down in shame, face all red. Jaehyun couldn't believe Ji-Eun still hadn't told their mom that she and Taeyong were not dating. He needed to tell their mom himself if his sister was not telling.

"Mom, i-it's not like that," She looked angry now.

"I can see very well what you're doing. He's cheating his girlfriend with you. That's not right. Jaehyun, I understand that you like boys but can you just be with someone who's- like- not your sister boyfriend," She spoke her mind and Jaehyun couldn't believe how bad it felt that she thought that way. He didn't even deserve the scolding because they were doing nothing wrong.

"Mom, he's not cheating anyone. He doesn't even have a girlfriend-"

"Did- did you and Ji-Eun break up?" She directed her words now to Taeyong. "But that still doesn't make it right for you to be together like that."

"Mom, they were never even together to begin with! They're just friends. Taeyong is my boyfriend," She looked at the two in confusion. Jaehyun pulled the other closer to him, placing his hand around his shoulder. Taeyong leaned his head to his chest while still looking down.

"W-what? Why?"

"I told Ji-Eun to tell you the truth many times but I don't know why she never told you. I don't even know where that all fake boyfriend thing started. You can ask Ji-Eun if you don't believe in my words but I just don't want you to think that I'm doing something wrong because I'm not," Jaehyun was losing his patience. If she wouldn't believe him now, he was going to have to talk with his sister again.

His mom looked still confused and she eyed at the two carefully. It was his first time seeing his son with someone after all. He caressed the other boy's hair soothingly and...lovingly? Taeyong looked ashamed as they had been caught doing things that were absolutely not supposed to be seen by her. It was understandable.

"So-... so you're like together? For how long?" Jaehyun sighed visibly in relief.

"Uhh...well, a few weeks but we've known each other since the beginning of the school year. Why are you here anyway?" He wanted her to leave. So much.

"I brought you food."

"Okay, thank you, you can leave now."

"Wait, no, um- I just- A-are you like hiding your relationship or why didn't Ji-Eun tell us? Or why didn't you?" Exactly. Why didn't he just do it himself and not just trust his sister to tell them.

"We're not hiding. I don't know what was Ji-Eun's motive to decide not to tell you but-"

"She wanted to make Jaehyun jealous at first when me and Jaehyun still weren't together. Then she told me, actually yesterday, that she didn't tell you because she was afraid that you'd be disappointed in her somehow," Taeyong opened his mouth for the first time. He looked at Jaehyun's mom and shifted away from his boyfriend. He glanced at Jaehyun beside him who looked shocked to hear his words.

"Oh- well, I kinda understand her point. I think she would be ashamed. The longer she kept the truth form me and his father, the harder it became for her to tell us. I'll talk to her. Thank you Taeyong for telling me," She was now worried for her daughter.

"Taeyong, why didn't you tell me?" Jaehyun didn't look so pleased.

"I- I'm sorry, I just didn't want you to be angry at her again," He took a step away from Jaehyun and looked down from his eyes.
