When Ross came home he was all smiles.

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Why are you so happy?"

"Because," he shouted to the whole world, gleefully, "I just shared a real kiss with Laura!"

"Ahem. May I tell you, that you are engaged to someone else, a.k.a. ME!" I yelled.

"Whoa, whoa, no need to get jealous here," he smirked.

"What?! I am definitely NOT jealous whatsoever!"

"Yeah, yeah. Oh, and get ready for tonight, because I invited Laura to dinner, you should make something fancy."

"What?! No way! No, you are not having her over for dinner!" I was mad now. Didn't he get that I was going to marry him and he couldn't go around kissing random girls?

I stormed up to our room. I put on some leggings, a hoodie, and my Uggs. There was no way I was dressing up for Laura.

----

The doorbell rang and Ross ran to it. He was all dressed up in a tux for some reason.

"Rossy!" Laura squealed when he opened the door. And guess what? She was dressed up too, in a fancy tight dress.

I rolled my eyes. What kind if nickname is Rossy?

He held her hand and led here to the dining room. He had set up candles. He had also made dinner -pasta- because I refused to.

She scrunched up her nose when she saw me. "What's she doing here, Rossy? I thought this was our special night."

"What do you mean by 'our special night?'" I asked. Something didn't seem right here.

"Oh, Ross didn't tell you?" she smirked. "This is Ross and I's date."

"What?" I yelled.

She smirked again. "No need to get bitchy here. And it would be gladly appreciated if you left. You're ruining our special night."

I marched to the front door. I might as well leave.

But before I left, I muttered to Laura, "If you do anything that doesn't make me his fiancé anymore, I will grab those six-inch heels of yours and make you two heads shorter than me. And I will seriously beat you up."

Then I grabbed my phone and left the house.

----

I decided I would need a place to crash the night, so I got into my car. The keys were surprisingly in my pocket.

I drove to the nearest hotel, then realized I didn't have any money, so I drove to the Lynch house.

Riker was the one to open the door when I rang the doorbell.

"Hey, Riker," I sighed. "Mind if I come in?"

He nodded and I went into their house.

They were all eating dinner, so I felt a little guilty for showing up at the wrong time.

"I'm so sorry for showing up now, I should've come later," I quickly said.

Stormie shook her head. "No, no! It's fine. Did you have dinner yet?"

I said no and then she seated me down in an empty chair, brought me a plate that had a burger on it, and told me to eat up.

"So, why are you here, Ash?" Rydel asked.

I sighed and explained the whole story to them. Occasionally, someone would gasp.

"Is this all true?" Rocky asked.

I nodded and Ryland stated, "Well, obviously the Laura we know is not the Laura she really is."

Everyone agreed.

After dinner, Rydel asked me if I wanted to stay the night. I said yes, and we went up to her room.

"But I didn't bring clothes," I said.

"That's okay. You can just borrow mine, although what you're wearing right now looks comfy enough to be pajamas," she replied.

"True," I said and we spent the night doing girly stuff.

I'm so lucky to have the Lynches.
