Maaga kaming umalis ng Manila patungong Tagaytay. We arrived at around 7 AM dahil wala masyadong traffic sa daan. I was amazed by how the mansion still stand proudly on top of the hill. Naalala kong isa ito sa pinakamagandang mansion dito noon and I believe it still is the grandest mansion here in Tagaytay.
I went out at dinama ang malamig na hangin sa aking mukha.
Ahhh!! It's more fun in the Philippines talaga!
I missed this!
I then went upstairs to our parents' room. Sosorpresahin ko sila. Hihi
I slowly entered their room and found that they're still sleeping. I walked towards the window and parted the huge curtain inviting the sunlight in. I heard mom groaned.
"Mom! Dad! Gising na po! Tanghali na oh." Sigaw ko sa kanila.
Walang reaksyon.
"Mommy! Daddy! Come on, bumangon na kayo dyan!"
I smiled and hugged him tightly.
"Good morning, dad! I missed you, too!" I teased him.
"Princess? Is that really you?" Hindi makapaniwalang sabi nito.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Dad naman! Syempre ako nga. Come on, mom! Get up now." Niyugyog ko naman si mommy.
"Hmmm.. Teka, ano bang nangyayari? Bakit ba ang ingay-ingay ninyo?" Pikit-matang tanong nito.
"Darling, our daughter is here. Gumising ka na." Sabi ni daddy dito.
Tuluyan ng nagising si mommy tila gulat na gulat din ito.
"Lea? Ikaw ba talaga yan? Naku! Bakit hindi ka naman nagsabi na uuwi ka na pala? Sana nakapaghanda kami ngayon." Worried na sabi nito.
I rolled my eyes again.
"Mom, that's old school. Come on, let's have breakfast na. Kuya's here, too. Gutom na rin ako." Sabi ko sabay akbay kay mommy.
Dumiretso kami sa kusina kung saan naghahanda na ng agahan ang mga kasambahay. Panay naman ang paulan ng mga tanong sa akin ni mommy.
"Lea, dear. Hanggang kelan ba ang bakasyon mo dito? Or aalis ka ba ulit?" She asked.
"Maybe 2 weeks lang ako dito, Mom. I have a business to attend to in LA. Ayokong mawala ng matagal doon."
"But you can just let your cousins look after it for you. You don't need to go back there, Hija. Miss na miss ka na namin dito." She reasoned.
"Mom, this is my very first company. Gusto kong ako mismo ang hahawak nito. I want to learn everything first-hand." I explained.
"Well, she's right, Vicky. We all know how much this means to her." Sang-ayon ni daddy.
"Thank you daddy. Don't worry, mom. I will come back from time to time. Maybe I can also expand my business here. But for now, my priority is my company po. I hope you will all support me on this." I said hopefully.
"Well, of course!" Mom finally said.
"Thank you, mommy!" I said happily.
Masaya kaming nagkwentuhan habang kumakain. Kuya also mentioned about his plans on settling down soon kaya we all got very excited.
