I Get What I Want

Kagabi pa kami nakabalik ng Tagaytay. Dahil sa sobrang inis ay hindi ko na kayang magtagal pa sa Calapan. May isang araw pa naman bago ang anniversary party kaya napagdesisyonan kong magbabad ngayon sa spa at mag-shopping na din.

"Morning, mom! I will be at the spa this morning and I'll go shopping this afternoon." I told mom over breakfast.

"Okay. Enjoy, Dear. And by the way, have you seen your gown? I put it in your closet yesterday."

"Yeah. Thanks, mom. I love it!" Masayang sabi ko.

"You know, Michelle keeps on asking me if you're interested in you know, modeling, Hija?" Heto na naman si mommy. Pinipilit na naman ako maging modelo.

"Nah, I'm not into modeling, mommy. But if its going to be a lingerie, I think that's interesting. Watcha think, mom?" I felt excited at the thought of it.

Tinaasan lamang ako ng kilay ni mommy.

"Tumigil ka, Lea. Don't ever talk about it again." Mom is pissed now.

Nakakatawa ang reaksyon nito.

"Don't worry, mom. I haven't even thought about it po." I assured her. "By the way Mom, Kuya bought a place in Calapan and I will be working on it, I mean, I'll be working on the house construction for the next 2 weeks. Right after the party ay babalik din po ako dun."

"I see. Well, sakto lang din kasi aalis kami ng Dad mo for Maldives next week." Pahayag nito.

"Okay, Mom. Have fun in Maldives!"

"Certainly, Hija. And have fun in Mindoro, too."

"One more thing, mom. Don't mention anything sa party. I haven't proposed to Cristine yet. I will do it once the house is finished. I want to surprise her." Kuya interrupted us.

I rolled my eyes but giggled after.

"I know, Kuya. Gosh, I'm so excited! Parang gusto ko nang matapos ang rest house nyo doon!" I giggled.

"I know you are. Kaya ayusin mo at siguraduhin mong magugustuhan ni Cristine ang gawa mo. Patay ka sa akin pag pumalya ang proposal ko." Banta nito.

"Yaks ka Kuya! That's bribery!Ano namang tingin mo sa kaibigan ko, mukhang bahay? Ganun?" Irap ko dito.

"Well, I just think it's proper na may maipakita akong bahay para naman di na sya magdalawang-isip na tanggapin ang proposal ko." Paliwanang nito.

"Whatever, Kuya! Anyway, your house will be perfect. I promise you that. Mommy, mauuna na po ako. I need to leave early para di masyadong abutan ng traffic." Paalam ko sa kanila at umakyat na.

"Take care, darling. Have fun!" Sigaw nito.

Alas-otso pa lang ng umaga ay umalis na ako ng bahay. I plan to go to Makati para doon na rin ako magshopping after my spa sessions. My mom has a favorite spa there kaya I want to try it, too. I arrived there at 11 AM at mabuti nalang at nakapag-book ako ng session today dahil ang dami nilang clients na naghihintay sa lobby. A nice lady escorted me to the massage room at sya rin pala ang magmamasahe sa akin.

Her hands were as gentle as feather kaya hindi ko maiwasang makatulog lalo na't pagod din ako sa pagda-drive mula Tagaytay. She just woke me up after an hour of whole body massage. Isusunod naman nito ngayon ang aking facial spa. Another staff did the facial spa and just like the lady earlier, malambot at magaan din ang mga kamay nito. No wonder why my mom loved this place!

After the satisfying spa sessions, nakaramdam na rin ako ng gutom. I want to eat something new kaya naglakad-lakad ako dito sa may Greenbelt. Finally, may napili na akong restaurant and thankfully, hindi ganoon kadami ang customers nila. Ayokong maghintay ng matagal kasi gutom na gutom na ako.
