A/n: This is a FnaF fanfic that was originally written on Quotev so some author notes may be a little outdated. I have edited most of them but I may have missed parts. Also, I tried to follow the Fnaf storyline as best as possible. This story is not set in the exact year of Fnaf 1 but I did the best I could. Also I don't own Fnaf. The game and characters belong to Scott Cawthon. B.t.w. I don't own any art unless I say so. In saying that, cover art is mine. Anyways, hope you enjoy.

The cool Sunday night air brushed over Sarah's face as she looked longingly out her window at the house next door. None of the lights were on so she assumed Brandon Kramer was asleep. She loved him with all of her heart. From head to toe, inside and out. She imagined him in her mind. His silky brown hair. His tall muscular body. His hands looking as soft as a baby's. But he could never be hers. Never in a thousand years.

You see, Brandon was already married. He was older than Sarah by 3 years. He was 21 with two kids. Twins. Amelia and Adrien. They were a picture perfect family. Like something out of a fairytale. Change his gorgeous wife to Sarah and the picture changed dramatically.

Sarah Cassidy was 18 years of age, tall, slim and all around beautiful. But although she looked perfect she had one huge flaw. She was terrified of other people. She had what you call social anxiety. She felt threatened, scared and judged by people who weren't her parents. This caused a lot of problems.

She couldn't shop herself so she had to get things delivered which could be a really big problem. Especially with clothes. If something was falsely advertised she had to send it back making things very complicated. Sarah would need to buy as much food as she could that she knew she would eat before it went off. And if Sarah wanted to post a big parcel, she would have to call her parents to help her.

Sarah also found it hard to learn things growing up. Her social anxiety would stop her going to school. She had to be home schooled by her parents and take courses online. Many doctors and nurses had tried to help her but each time they thought it had worked she would become stressed again.

School wasn't the problem anymore though. It was getting a job. Sarah had been trying to get a job for the past 2 years now but she'd been unsuccessful each time. Most jobs involved social interaction so she was unable to apply for them.

As Sarah thought about all this her attention was drawn to the plain white envelope sitting on top of today's newspaper on her desk. She knew what it was. Her house bill. Sarah couldn't afford to pay that right now so she decided to deal with it in the morning. Instead she picked up the newspaper and scanned over the front page.

Sarah flipped through the magazine until she came to the job advertisements. There was nothing interesting on the first page that she could do. But on the second page, one job stood out the most. In the very centre of the page was a picture of a human sized, brown, animatronic bear alongside a blue bunny and yellow chicken. Underneath it read:

FREDDY FAZBEAR'S PIZZA

NOW HIRING

The Los Angeles Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria is looking for a new night guard. It's a 12-6am shift full time job Monday to Friday. There may be an occasional Saturday. To find out more ring 0-800-FAZ-FAZBEAR. (Openings close midnight tonight.)

Sarah considered the option. 12-6am Monday to Friday. It was a night shift so there wouldn't be anyone else there. And, on top of all this it didn't take away her days. It was perfect!

Sarah picked up her phone and dialled her mum's number. It was late but she knew her mum would still be awake.

"Hello? Sarah, is that you? What is it sweetie?" Sarah's mum had a caring voice. It was also quite loud and not the least bit drowned.

"Hi mum! Yeah it's me. I was wondering if I could ask you for a favour. I was flipping through today's magazine when I came across a job advertisement. It's a night shift 12-6am Monday to Friday with an occasional Saturday. And because it's a night shift there'll be no one else there." Replied Sarah, excitement pumping adrenaline through her veins.

"Sounds great. Would you like me to call them for you? I can do it right now if you'd like."

"Yes I'd love that. Thanks mum!"

Sarah hung up and waited for her mum to call her back. Part of Sarah's social anxiety was that she found it hard to talk to people even if she couldn't see them. Especially if they were important. Sarah's heart was racing. She may finally be able to get a job. Finally. Something to look forward to.

The phone rang again a few minutes later. It was Sarah's mum. She only said 4 words before hanging up again.

"You got the job!" Sarah looked at the clock above her door.

It was midnight.
