A/n: Just really quickly wanna clarify a few things. First, the story in this chapter is about FNaF 4 and the crying child. I didn't really have a name for him so I called him Benny. Michael is the older brother and William Afton is the dad. Also, if you want to have a better understanding of the FNaF timeline, go checkout Game Theory's newest episodes. They tell the story well and while it's not 100%, it's close. It covers heaps of things and finally gives the FNaF a clearer story. I suggest you go check it out. Just to let you know, this is mostly about FNaF 4, so if you don't like what happens in the mini games, please don't read. It does contain death. If want you can skip this chapter as it's mostly the animatronics backstory. But if you don't like this sort of stuff I don't know why your eyes reading this as that's mostly what FNaF's about. Anyways, sorry for rambling, hope you enjoy.

"I didn't think you would. Not after that phone call you got. I don't even know why you listen. He doesn't exactly tell the truth."

"What do you mean?" Asked Sarah, her fear drowned by curiosity.

"Every time a new night guard starts, he tells them they have nothing to fear. You're safe and no one can hurt you. Then he says the animatronics, a.k.a. me and the others, might be a bit of a problem. That to us you're an endo-skeleton and we want to stuff you into a suit because that's the rules. Everyone wears their costume. But there's the problem. We can see you as human just fine. Their merely trying to cover up the fact that you just gave yourself a death wish signing up."

There was silence for a bit. Sarah had never realised that. It seemed like such a simple thing to miss. Like not seeing the purple fan on her desk, even when it's shoved in her face. Or did part of her mind know without telling the rest. Maybe that's why she didn't listen to phone guy. Because her brain didn't hint he was telling her the truth. Then Sarah realised something.

"Why haven't you killed me yet?" At the question, Foxy avoided her gaze.

"I tried. Back in the office. I was ready to do it. I kept telling myself you weren't like Benny. You were a night guard. You worked for the man who killed me. I was getting my revenge. I wasn't like Afton. Killing innocent people. But I still couldn't do it. You remind me of Benny. You remind me of the family Afton never deserved." There was a stunned silence. Sarah had so many questions running through her mind. But when she opened her mouth to say them, only one came out.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm gonna tell you a story ok. But you need to promise not to tell anyone about it. This stays between us." Sarah nodded.

"About a year or two ago we were still being made. While that was happening we were kept inside the Afton's house. They were a nice family it seemed. The little boy Benny, his older brother Michael, and the dad, William Afton. I don't know what happened to the mum. Maybe there never was one, maybe she was always out, or maybe something had happened to her. I also think there was a daughter. She was never seen though. I think whatever happened to the mum happened to the daughter. Who was first I don't know. All I know was it was because of the same person, William. I don't know if the mum or daughter knew about us. I only knew about them because I heard things. Before we were made though, at least before these bodies were, we were normal children.

"There was a sister location not to far away from here. At that place there were only two animatronics. A golden Freddy and Bonnie. These were springlock suits. Dangerous suits. Dangerous because they could be worn by a human. William always wore the golden Bonnie suit. My friends and I were dumb enough to trust him. And because of out trust, we were killed. These bodies were nearly made by then so we were put inside them. Eventually we came to posses the suits. But we were still kids. We were scared and we wanted revenge. We didn't know much so we tried attacking Benny. You see, each night we would hide in his room or out in the hall. I didn't like the idea. I wanted to kill William. Even Michael would do. Although they looked so similar I don't think it mattered which.

"I didn't want to kill Benny. He was our age at the time and I didn't want another child to suffer. But the others made me. They all wanted revenge. They wanted it so much that everything I said was forgotten in a heartbeat. One night we were ready to kill him. It was the night of his birthday. He was at the restaurant all day so we had time to plan. Although it never happened. Because of us, and whatever happened to his sister, he was scared of the suits there, giving his brother a chance to tease him. But the teasing went a little to far.

"You see, water causes springlocks to fail. The spring locks keep back the animatronic parts allowing space for the wearer. The problem was, what the brother did to tease Benny was put his head inside one of the suits. He was scared so he cried, causing the spring locks to fail. The mouth snapped shut and it cracked his skull, killing him. We never got a chance to see another of the family members as we were quickly finished and left here. So, we kill the night guards hoping one of them is an Afton. I couldn't kill you though because you remind me of Benny and what happened." Foxy finished. Sarah couldn't say anything but this.

"I'm so sorry."
