That one question puzzled everyone. What could Afton be doing at this time of night? Normal people, or people who weren't working, were usually asleep. Could that be what Afton was doing? Working. It was likely, but if so, what could his job be? Millions of ideas started running through Sarah's head. There were a million possibilities.
The 5 of them walked back to the dining area and started discussing different possibilities like school children. "It could be at a shop somewhere." Suggested Chica.
"Or a security guard." Added Sarah.
"He could be building something secretly." Proposed Foxy.
"Maybe it's not a job at all. Maybe it's something he does where he doesn't get paid." Mentioned Bonnie
"He could be planning something else." Said Freddy with bitterness in his voice.
"Maybe. I hope not." Replied Sarah, knowing what Freddy meant.
She knew he meant planning something bad. If he was going to do the same thing as last time, Sarah could only imagine how bad it would be for the animatronics. What would happen to them? Would they be destroyed? Or would they be kept here? Sarah didn't want to know. She didn't want anything like that to happen. Just when she felt like she'd made friends and she could lose them.
"Maybe he's making new animatronics." Sarah said, voicing her thoughts out loud.
"It's possible. I mean, he could be adding more to this place to attract visitors. It doesn't exactly have the best reputation." Said Chica.
"But what will he do to those visitors?" Asked Freddy.
"He might not do anything. Most likely not if he wants a job." Replied Foxy, knowing Sarah was getting slightly scared at the thought. He himself dreaded it. It was a horrible thought. It'd been two years since the incident. Nothing had happened in that time so there was a chance it wouldn't happen again.
The five of them sat there talking, each coming up with new and wacky ideas of what William Afton could be doing, and if he was still doing it. Eventually, the conversation came to an end, no one knowing what to say. When it was over, Foxy got up from the table and started walking down the hall to where the office was.
"Where are you going?" Asked Bonnie, getting up to follow him, closely followed by everyone else.
"Well, he's the day shift worker right. And I know the mess in the office isn't Sarah's. So, there may be something there that could give us a hint to what he does. Anyway, I wanna see why he's got so many papers and rubbish in there."
The office was quite messy. There were bits of scrunched up papers littered along the desk as well as new sheets here and there. There was a cupcake on the desk with big eyes and teeth. On the right, was a purple desk fan. Near it was a cup of coke. Sarah realised this was the first time she'd actually paid attention to what the office looked like. Although it was things like the cupcake that she didn't like. It seemed as if it was watching her. She was slightly glad she had spent most of the time out of the office while she was here.
"That's where I left my cupcake." Exclaimed Chica, rushing forward to pick it up. Bonnie had a look at some of the scrunched up sheets, Freddy looking at the new ones. Meanwhile Sarah and Foxy rummaged through the draws, scanning for anything that may give them a hint as to what Afton may be doing.
"There's nothing but bills here." Said Freddy disappointed.
"These are just old party plans." Added Bonnie.
"I can't see anything here." Muttered Foxy. Sarah shook her head. The last draw had been empty. The animatronics made there way back down the hall to the dining area. Disappointed they had found nothing.
