The animatronics walked down the hall. Chica was walking on Sarah's right, holding the cupcake protectively. The way she acted you would think it was a priceless gem, not a creepy cupcake that had been on the desk for who knows how long. Beside Chica was Freddy. To Sarah's left was Foxy and next to him Bonnie. The five of them walked down the hallway in a line. It surprised Sarah that it was actually possible considering the size of the animatronics.
When they reached the end of the hall, the all went in different directions. Foxy put his arm around Sarah, being careful not to cut her with his hook as he guided her towards pirate cove, away from the others. As to where the others went, Sarah had no idea. She had seen a blur of brown as she passed Freddy but that was it. The rest had disappeared and Sarah didn't know wether to be happy about the fact they were gone, or worried about the fact she had no idea where they were. Although they'd said they wouldn't hurt them, Sarah was still cautious and she and Foxy went and sat down on the stage.
Foxy helped Sarah into a sitting position as she awkwardly tried to sit without hurting herself. Although she failed, bitting back a hiss as pain seared through her side. Foxy saw the look of pain in her eyes and his instantly filled with guilt. It was his fault. Sarah wouldn't be hurt if he hadn't tried to kill her. She wouldn't feel pain in every movement. But then she probably wouldn't feel anything at all. Foxy felt less guilty when he thought of that, but the feeling still lingered there.
"I wanted to thank you. For everything. Stopping the others, finding Afton, and even letting us talk with him tomorrow. You didn't need to do any of that. You could've left after your first night but you didn't. You stayed. Why?" Asked Foxy. He had been meaning to thank Sarah since she'd saved them but couldn't find the right time. And the words. "I don't know why I didn't leave. And I'm glad I didn't. I got to meet you and it's thanks to you I'm sitting here right now. Plus, we promised to protect each other. I don't know about you but I'm planning on keeping that promise." "And I am to." Replied Foxy. "You don't need to thank me for anything."
Suddenly, Foxy flung himself onto Sarah, nearly knocking her down as he hugged her as tight as he dared, wary of her wound which, from the fact it hurt to make the move to sit and stand, didn't seem to have healed any quicker than normal. Foxy had a feeling that Chica had cut deeper than what they thought. For a second, Sarah just sat there, arms out, stunned at the sudden embrace. Then she hugged back, looking for the comfort and safety of having Foxy hold her. She knew she was safe when he was around. She knew he wouldn't let anything harm her and she wouldn't let anything near him.
Eventually they pulled apart, deciding they should find the others. Foxy helped Sarah up and they made there way towards the kitchen. Foxy knew the animatronics and so, he had a rough idea of where they'd be. As he'd guessed Chica was in the kitchen. Although she wasn't cooking; she was moving around all the different pots and pans and food and rearranging them. Foxy knew this annoyed the cooks beyond belief as they struggled to find what they needed. Bonnie and Freddy were watching, giving Chica suggestions as she worked.
Sarah and Foxy decided to leave them to their work as they walked back out and towards the main dining area. They found a spot near the door which allowed them to see nearly the whole restaurant. It was a perfect place to see when people were coming. They sat down and started getting comfy when they heard the faintes sound of a lock being jiggled. They looked around but couldn't see anyone. Eventually they rested there gaze on the door to see someone pick the lock and walk in.
