A Little Chat

Sarah held her breath as her parked my car outside her house. In front of her's was her mum's car. She dreaded going in. She just prayed she hadn't told anyone. Sarah walked up to the door and went inside. Even though this was her own house, she still felt as though she were a small child who's done something wrong, waiting to be punished by the towering parents. Sarah's heart raced as she took the steps one by one up to her bedroom. She hadn't seen her mum yet, and as each second passed, she got more and more anxious. Eventually she reached her room. She opened the door to see her mum siting on her bed, looking down at the letter in her hand. Sarah swept a quick look at the letter and new it was the house bill.

"You should really pay this." Said Sarah's mum, looking up from the note as Sarah walked in. 

"Ugh, can't you just leave so I can get a little more sleep. When you know it's safe to sleep, you do." 

"No. I wanna talk with you first. You and I are gonna sit down and have a long chat." Knowing she wouldn't get anywhere, Sarah sat down on the bed and leaned her back against the wall, staring at her mum. 

"What do you wanna talk about?" 

"I want, from the beginning, a whole story of the past 2 nights. And do not leave anything out!" Said Sarah's mum sternly.

"Well, I walked into the pizzeria and went to my office. That's when the phone rang which I just kept telling myself was a voice recording. Then the animatronics were at the windows, the boys on one side and Chica on the other. They told me they wouldn't kill me on the first night if I went with them, so I did. They sung a song, gave me some pizza, then took me to the supply closet where they each had 10 minutes to beat me within an inch of death. Then when that was over they were having a little chat about what to do next when I snuck away. I tried to leave but they had locked the door so I tried to hide. Unfortunately I picked pirate cove as my hiding place. That's when I first met Foxy. Well, he gave me back to the others, and they were dragging me back to the supply closet when Chica's grip caused my arm to fracture. Then I came home.

"Last night I got another phone call telling me not to do the same thing as the night before and that I was lucky to be alive. Then Foxy ran into the room and tried to kill me but didn't. And I thought I was hallucinating, so I went to pirate cove and it turns out I wasn't. Foxy told me the story of the animatronics. Then Chica came and saw me and she tried attacking Foxy but I stepped in the way. Then you came. You know what happened then. Well, after you left Foxy and I hid backstage. Foxy properly bandaged up my cut, we talked a bit then when 6am hit we walked outside and said goodbye to each other then I left." Sarah explained, recounting her night as simply as possible.

While Sarah spoke her mum didn't say a word. But now that she'd finished she did. "I wanna come tonight." 

"I already told you, it's hard enough without worrying about two people. And if you come later, I'm not unlocking the door." 

"Fine, I won't come but I will tell your father." 

"No, you won't. Nobody is gonna know about this except you, and me." 

"One condition. You tell me what you did after every night like you did just then. Maybe I'll let you go alone then." 

"Fine mum. I don't think it'll be bad all the time."

Sarah's mum got up and left the room, but she quickly poked her head back in. "Remember to pay the house bill sweetie." 

"That's why I got this job mum." This time, Sarah's mum actually left. Sarah saw her to the door and watched as she got in her car and drove away. After that Sarah walked back upstairs and carefully laid back down on the bed. She felt awake but after a few minutes she drifted of into a restless sleep.
