On the Phone

Sarah got to the pizzeria earlier than normal. Well, that's if you call ten minutes beforehand early. She walked in to see the animatronics around, something. It was a mess. Sarah didn't know, and doubted she wanted to know, what it was. Or had been. At the sound of the door opening, Foxy lifted his head up, his eyes clouded by anger. Although that was replaced with surprise at seeing Sarah five minutes earlier than normal.

"What are you doing here so early?" Asked Foxy.

"I didn't know where you guys were. And the phone has a tendency to ring as soon as I step into the office. By the way, what is, was, that?" Sarah asked, motioning to the mess on the table.

"It was a cake. Now it is, this." Explained Bonnie.

"What did you guys do to it? That's not what cake's should look like."

"We might've pummeled it to this." Said Freddy, no hint of regret in his voice.

"It was a gift from our friend Afton. It was left over from the party today. We find it's a nice little reminder of some things we wanna say to him." Added Chica.

Sarah now understood the cake. And why it was now nothing more than a pile of crumbs. "Well, unless you wanna miss him, I suggest you go into the office." Foxy was instantly sprinting down the hall, the others going as fast as they could behind him. Sarah walked at a slow pace, reaching the office well after the animatronics, who were now staring at the phone as if it might explode.

"Do you know how to use a phone?" Asked Sarah as she passed the window. She saw them all nod in sync. It was five to twelve when she reached the office, the phone ringing as soon as she stepped inside. He was early. No one picked up the phone as Afton began to speak.

"Hello. Pick up. I know you're there listening to me. I know you can hear me. Pick up right now or else I am hanging up." Foxy picked up the phone but still nobody spoke. The sound of an elevator could faintly be heard through the phone.

"Thank you. Now I demand to know why on earth you wanna talk to me. I am a very busy man and I need to do work of my own right now so make this quick. I will give you-"

"Hello William. We enjoyed your little gift. Do you realise your mistake now?" Said the four animatronics in usion, their voices sweet and playful.

Afton stopped speaking, but only for a second, recovering from the shock of hearing the animatronics. "So, you've figured it out. What are you going to do know? Kill me. Kill me like I did to you all those years ago."

"I will, and I'll make it three times as painful."

"Oh, you're feisty, aren't you Foxy. You know, anger can be a dangerous enemy."

"We appreciate your advice, but I doubt we'll be needing it. It doesn't seem very useful." Said Bonnie.

"Ah yes. Is that you Bonnie? Well, I guess it is useless to you seeings as all you can do is sing and dance for kids on stage. How does that feel? Unable to do anything."

Bonnie wanted to go to wherever the man was right now and rip him in half. Chica spoke before the boys could do anything. "Well, I guess that you want to be here. You seem quite bored during the day. Or is that your happy face?"

"Talking about happy faces Chica, you used to have one. To bad your left looking like that." Chica looked quite upset, Freddy stepping in to help.

"By the way, how's Micheal? Talk to him much? You don't seem like a very good parent."

"Well at least I'm better than yours. At least my son knows not to follow strangers, especially robots."

Sarah knew that had hit a nerve with them. All of them. "Guys don't listen to him, he's trying to wind you up. He wants you to be like this."

"You must be Sarah I hear. Well, good to know you're still alive. You've made it to your forth night. After I saw the blood in the supply closet today, I didn't know what to think of your health. But you sound ok. Also, I'm glad to know all the animatronics are angry." At that, all the animatronics started cursing him, coming up with the worst possible things to say. That's when Afton hung up.

"Well, that felt good." Said Freddy, suddenly cheerful again.
