Michael Afton walked to the fridge, checking the old grandfather clock as he passed it. Half past eight. His dad would be home soon. He knew he wouldn't bring groceries. Well, back to stealing his credit card again. Michael walked to the kitchen and open up the fridge pulling out a tub of yoghurt. He settled down on the couch and dug in. It was devoured within seconds. He got up to put it in the bin when he noticed the patch of yellow atop the clock. It was Benny's Fredbear doll. Mike hadn't seen that in ages. He hadn't wanted to.
"What are you doing here little guy?" He reluctantly picked up the doll, examining it. It was about a medium size, yellow with a purple tie and top hat. There was no clue as to how he got there so Mike looked down the hall, to where his brother's empty room lay. He then looked behind him, to where his sister's room was. Reminder's of what he'd lost. He regretted the day. He really regretted it. He didn't know that would happen. How was he supposed to know it was a spring lock suit? His dad sure hadn't told him. He didn't know how springlocks worked. There wasn't even a sign telling kids to not touch the animatronics. It was stupid.
He walked down the hall, dreading it every second. He reached the room and pushed the door. It creaked slightly as it opened, allowing Mike to see inside. It was untouched. The Freddy plush lay at the head of the bed. The Bonnie and Chica plushies each lay in a different corner, close to the doors. Mike stepped in and opened the closet. The foxy plush lay there, unseeing. It's head was sewn back on. Mike had fixed it after his brother had died, hoping it would at least let him know that he cared. His way of saying 'I'll try to fix the problem I caused as best as I can.' He'd ripped of the doll's head as another dumb prank for his brother. He wanted to fix what he'd done to his brother. At least let him know that he was sorry. Deeply. He placed the Fredbear plush at the foot of the bed. He left the room, but before he closed the door, he looked back at Fredbear, and he could've sworn he winked.
Michael closed the door, wanting to never of have gone in there. He hadn't seen in his brother or sister's room in ages. He walked back down the hall and looked into Elizabeth's room. It was girly. It had a pink bed with a flower painting on the wall. There was a cabinet with a lamp on it. That was it. He didn't know where her toy was. His mother would know. If only he knew where she was. He walked down the hall then noticed that his father's room was open ajar. It was never left unlocked. Although mind you, he was in a bit of a rush this morning.
Michael opened the door. It was dark inside so he flipped on the light switch. There were no windows in here, allowing no way in for the light. There was a single desk with a filing cabinet. The cabinet was locked so Mike moved onto the desk, which seemed just as promising. There were blueprints for three new animatronics. The original four minus Foxy. They seemed to be made of plastic and had rosy cheeks. Definitely more kid friendly. Look wise at least. According to the blueprints, they were wired to the security system database. It was all very advanced.
Under the blueprints were party forms. One was yesterday and the other tomorrow. The one from yesterday was signed almost lazily, as if his father was disappointed he had to accept. The one for tomorrow on the other hand, was signed as if he was bubbling with excitement. It was strange, his father was hardly ever excited. Something was wrong. Really wrong. And he was gonna find out what. That's when he heard the front door open. He left the room and walked across the hall to his. He heard his father laughing hysterically from the front door. Something was definitely wrong. He would make sure it was right.
