A/n: Hey guys. Three chapters for one thing! It was originally only gonna be one but it got really long but who cares. Just to let you know, this chapter and the next are both during the day, just to let you know. Anyways, hope you enjoy.
Sarah's eyes hurt. Her whole body hurt. It was stiff and sore in every possible place. She was laying on something soft, her hand in someone else's. Her head rested on a pillow and that's when she realised she was on her bed, at home. She focused her attention on who's hand she was holding, now that she knew where she was. It was soft, like fabric, but it was warm compared to the cool breeze that drifted around the room. She forced her eyes open, looking directly into Foxy's.
"You're awake. Oh thank god, I thought I'd lost you. What were you thinking?" Sarah smiled weakly in response.
"I'd better tell your mum you're awake, I'll never hear the end of it otherwise."
"You didn't tell her what happened did you?" Foxy shook his head.
"Got you inside, laid you down and then was told to go wait in the hallway. I'm only in here now because your mum went to get something to eat."
"Sorry about her. I can only imagine why she'd do that."
"It's fine, just gimme a second and I'll be back."
Foxy left and Sarah lay there in silence. But the silence didn't last long when Sarah's mum burst into the room, half running to Sarah and squeezing her in a tight hug. Sarah's breath was taken out of her and she struggled to let her mum know. She looked at Foxy for help and he came and helped pry her mother off her. Once she was off, Sarah collapsed back onto the bed, gulping in air. Her mother looked angry but then realised that Sarah had asked Foxy and calmed down.
"What happened dear. Foxy bought you in and you didn't wake up. You've been asleep for five hours."
"Uh."
"What happened." Her mother's voice was stern so Sarah knew she needed to come up with something simple yet convincing.
"Well, Foxy and I were taking turns and it was my turn and I was a split second too slow and they got me. They took me too the supply closet and beat me up a bunch. There, happy."
Over her mum's shoulder, Sarah saw the look of bewilderment on Foxy's face, but it was quickly replaced with a neutral look when Sarah's mum turned to him.
"What did you do? Close the doors and wait till it was over." Now it was Foxy's turn to lie, to make it fit with Sarah's. The only thing was, Sarah didn't know how much was true and how much was a lie.
"I tried. But have you taken on three animatronics who enjoy this sort of stuff. Yeah, and it gets harder when they're holding you back." It fit perfectly, almost too perfectly. Sarah had a sneaking suspicion that the only lie he'd told was who had restrained him. But even that may be a lie.
"Wait, why aren't you at the pizzeria?" Asked Sarah, looking at the clock. It was 1pm.
"Yeah, by the time I got here, it has half past eight so I couldn't really go back even if I wanted to. I'd have to wait until it closes. That's not for another seven hours. It's not like it matters though. I'm just thrown backstage during the day."
"WAIT! SEVEN HOURS! YOU THINK YOU CAN STAY HERE FOR SEVEN HOURS? NOT A CHANCE!"
"What, you want me to waltz right in and go, 'hey everybody, I'm back.' Where do you want me to go?"
"Not here. Not with my daughter."
"Mum, Foxy's staying." Her mum gaped at Sarah when she spoke.
"No. I will not have it. I am not leaving my daughter here with a murderous animatronic."
"Mum, you don't have to leave. You can stay, but Foxy's staying as well. End of story."
"Fine. But I need to leave. I need to get home. I've already been here longer than expected. I'll be back before you leave."
Sarah's mum left, leaving the two in silence. It was awkward for a second then Foxy stared at the floor, averting Sarah's eyes.
"Thanks for letting me stay here."
"No problem. I've never had a friend over before. This'll be fun." Sarah sat up and patted the space at her feet. Foxy sat down and Sarah half jumped on him, tackling him into a hug.
"Please don't leave me."
"I won't. No matter what happens." Replied Foxy softly.
From the door, Sarah's mum's heart broke. She left, wishing she had never stayed in the first place.
