“Truth.” I decided to start out easy. Mack gave me a pouty face.
“Are you a virgin?” The group laughed in reply to Mack’s question.
I thought about what to reply. The question was obviously a trap for judgment. I was either too uptight or too loose. I decided to just tell the truth, “No,” I sighed. Anne already knew about it but, it seemed strange admitting it to others.
“Nice.” Mack replied. He winked at me and the group laughed in unison.
I had lost it to Mason. I was drunk and I loved him. Mason ruined me in a lot of ways. We dated for a year and a half. He was great at first. Then, things just got bad. I thought it was over when I had finally found the guts to walk away but, I was wrong.
“Your turn, Justin.” Mack elbowed him and put his hand on my knee.
“Okay, Cali, truth or dare?” Justin glared at me.
“Dare,” I replied feeling confident.
“I dare you to stop drinking.”
“Way to kill a great party.” Mack said.
The next few people went. I paid no attention until my name was called. My head was beginning to ache so I guessed I was beginning to sober up.
“What?” I asked.
“Truth or dare?” The guy a few people away to the left was looking at me.
“Dare,” I said.
“Kiss Mack.” He smirked at me. This was probably somehow Mack’s doing.
I rolled my eyes and thought about how he had embarrassed me in front of Justin over the phone. Mack was chuckling next to me. I sat up and leaned over Mack. On my knees, I was taller than him and more intimidating. Mack was smiling at me like an idiot and leaned back. Justin sighed next to him. My hands grasped Mack’s face and I leaned in and bit my lip. I could tell Mack was now begging for the taste of my lips. He wanted our lips to move in sync as he moved his hands to my hips. He wanted me. I made my lips brush over his lips as I placed a kiss on the tip of his nose.
“You didn’t say where to kiss him.” I turned around to the stranger.
“Too bad for you, Mack, because that looked like it was gonna be hot.” Everyone laughed except for Justin who was playing with his nails.
My turn came a few minutes later and I looked over at Justin.
“Justin, truth or dare?” He scolded at me.
“Truth,” He spoke through gritted teeth.
“Are you a virgin?” I wiggled my eyebrows and the room filled with laughter.
“Yeah,” he said.
“What about Tamara?” Mack asked.
“We haven’t done anything like that. Stop asking me. This discussion is over.” He ran his hand through his hair and fluffed it out.
Justin totally fit into the description of a good boy. He was wearing a buttoned up blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up and khakis to a house party. He got pissed off about everything. He went to a private school. He looked well put together and he had a snobby, blonde girlfriend.
“My turn,” Mack announced, “Cali,”
“Dare,” I cut him off.
“I dare you to make out with me in front of everyone, right now.” He bit his lip and leaned back. A smirk lit up his face and he giggled like a school girl.
