Khadeen's inner dragon told her where Ezra was because she could feel their bond slowly growing through their newfound link. She sensed that he was in pain and that he needed her. She was hesitant but what could she possibly do his stupidity was the reason they were in this current predicament. She retrieved her car from the parking lot at the coffee shop and drove to his location which she discovered was one of her hotels, The Scarlet Bella. The valet was excited to see her and she let him take her car keys and she teleported to the room Ezra was in. She could feel a hint of his pain clawing at her stomach but she dismissed it and arrived in his room. She was no stranger to pain as all interstellar dragons were connected and she had felt all of them die. Khadeen screwed up her face when she sensed something in the air that reeked of those lower beings, vampires. She arrived in his room in a bright light that disappeared and her expression was motionless when she saw Lexia beside her mate. Lexia didn't seem to know the situation or how dangerous Khadeen was but being as bold as she normally was she dared to ask,

"Who the hell are you?"

She ignored her and walked to her mate with her wings slowly receding into her back. To Khadeen the little vampire seemed annoyed and stepped in front of her trying to make a point as it directed its question to her again. Khadeen's eyes changed color showing that her dragon was in control and she really wasn't in the mood to deal with anything; her mate was in pain and only she could stop it. Fed up by the vampire's insolence Khadeen held her throat and squeezed it until it snapped then she threw the vampire to the side. She then walked over to her mate that was now unconscious due to his pain. Khadeen sighed and looked pitifully at him, if only he had known that not accepting her right away would only cause him pain or death but luckily for him he was a tribrid or he would have died in an instant.

"Mine," she whispered as she curled up next to Ezra and held him close to her. It appeared that Khadeen was already in love. Her dragon hissed in delight at being close to her mate.

She stayed close by him for an hour until he began to stir. Ezra opened his eyes and saw Khadeen smiling at him and for a moment he felt peace and the moaning from his supernaturals stopped; they were at peace but nothing stays perfect for long and of course Ezra was going to ruin it but not before Khadeen admired him up close. She found that he had the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen and for a brief moment nothing in the entire world mattered to her, her heart was home. Ezra remembered his quest and immediately removed himself from her and stood at the other side of the room and stared at her in anger. Khadeen guessed that the human side to him was still stupid or did he have a human part?

"What the hell are you doing here? Did you follow me?" he shouted at her expecting her to flinch.

Khadeen laughed at Ezra's expression, "Well yes, I followed you, so what?"

Ezra was surprised at her reaction but displayed a smirk Khadeen knew she would grow to love, "Want some dick, do you? I didn't know thots still followed men home."

She laughed once more and continued to laugh until her sides hurt then she shook her head. "Ezra darling, I'm your mate, so stop this stupidity that you lower beings portray and stop playing hard to get it's rather displeasing."

Ezra could not reply so he angrily stormed out of the room. Khadeen shook her head and chuckled, stupid human.

"Meh," Khadeen shrugged and plopped down on the chair in Ezra's room. Since the chair was beside the window she looked down to the dimly lit streets of Romania and smiled at Ezra angrily stomping away. She laughed, twice in one night he has run away from her, this was becoming interesting she thought. Her phone beeped in her purse and she took it out to check her messages, they were from her business associates. She looked up from her phone when she heard the vampire stir and rolled her eyes,
