"Ezra!!" she sobbed. Ezra tried to get to her but with each inch closer, she seemed to drift further away. He broke out into a run but this only sent her farther away. She was surrounded by vicious-looking Vampiriceans with saliva dripping from their long black fangs as they readied themselves to feast on her flesh and Ezra wanted to help her so badly but he couldn't. Their claws emerged and they sunk it deep into the chest of the unknown female. Ezra was puzzled as to why he was trying so desperately to help this female but his body fought for her regardless. The sky roared as if angry at him for being weak. The soul-sucking Lidercs had taken hold of Dylan and the largest of them was sucking away his life source. Ezra felt defeated and suddenly he saw a bright light amid the commotion and the creatures became consumed as if they burned from inside out and Dylan's lifeless body fell to the ground. Ezra turned his gaze to the girl and tried to get to her, stumbling in the process, but it was too late. She was dead. He held her and sobbed and as his tears fell and touched her skin she began to glow from within. The bright light from the sky went inside her and her dead brown eyes glowed once again to their original sparkling brown. Ezra wondered how he knew what her eyes were before, he couldn't figure out who she was but he could tell she meant everything to him. She sucked in a breath and blinked then looked at him then she closed her eyes. He held her in his hands with a strong grip and cried. He cried for minutes until he heard slow breaths and he gasped as she whispered his name,

"Ezra?"

"Yes," Ezra answered and he felt a sudden pull as if someone was dragging him but he didn't want to leave. Ezra did not want to let go of this girl with long braided hair and brown eyes but his name was continuously being called, each time getting louder. He felt a sudden strong push and he woke up on the ground with Lexia on top of him.

"Took you long enough," he smirked.

"Ugh! You did that on purpose," she screamed.

"Eh em," Ezra and Lexia looked up to see a seemingly puzzled Dylan who couldn't hold back the laughter.

It had been a week since Dylan had been staying at Lexia's house. He did all his business for his company on a laptop he bought because Ezra had told him it would be wise to stay hidden from the world while there was still a hunt for him. One day Ezra walked in after a jog and called for Dylan and Lexia's attention.

"Guys I planned a trip to Jamaica. I have a lead there that will bring me closer to finding my mom. You guys are welcome to join."

"Do you believe that I will also find a lead on my father?" asked a curious Dylan.

"I don't know but I can check around for you if you like."

"Eh em. I do believe that I should also be welcome to join" declared Lexia.

Ezra looked at her and gave a devilish smirk.

"Of course your highness is welcome but Jamaica is filled with surprises. Are you sure you would like it there?"

"Well, I'm sure Jamaica doesn't have anything that I've never handled. Am I right?"

Dylan and Ezra glanced at each other and smiled.

"Well then Miss Scarlet, welcome to the trip."

Jamaica

Ezra stepped off the plane marked Caribbean Airlines and took a deep breath. He didn't need an umbrella but Lexia made sure to bring her large black umbrella to keep her skin from the sun's intense rays. Dylan later reluctantly stepped out of the plane and the flight attendant gave him a polite smile. The sounds of music 'One love, one heart' soon filled their eardrums, and Lexia screwed up her face.

"What is that awful music that is damaging my eardrums?"

Ezra shrugged, "I'm not sure but I can tell the locals like it."

Dylan giggled at the sight of the two and walked forward.

Brown Man had gotten up to a shaky start, his baby mother Miss Joy had given him a headache with her nagging about him not being around for his six children. He had been angry at her and stormed out of their 3 bedroom house leaving his breakfast. Times like this he wished that he lived alone. He pulled up to the Norman Manley Airport and set up his vehicle. He began his chant,

"Portland! Portland! tek a good and easy drive to Portland. All are welcome, ol' and youn' alike."

Some tourists and locals came and boarded his bus and he only had two spaces left. He spotted three peculiar looking people and wondered to himself, they must be from Greenland but, them look extra pale sah, he thought to himself.

"Come this way young people a nice drive here."

"Do you have space for us all?" Ezra asked.

"Yeah man," Brown man answered and asked the other passengers to small up themselves. When he found that it couldn't hold three he suggested that the lady would sit in one of the men's lap.

"Alright then," Ezra smirked at him.

Lexia sat in Ezra's lap and the journey began. While sitting on the bus the driver stopped in an area that held some unscrupulous faces and some of the tourists were scared of the rough-looking faces of some of the locals. Some persons on the bus got off however and Lexia took a seat beside Ezra while the driver picked up other persons and then the bus was off again. The persons that were picked up from the unscrupulous area began their conversation about a contest on their favorite station Television Jamaica that neither Ezra nor Lexia knew about.

"Mi seh the chiney gal caa sing so mi nuh know why them nuh tek har off," suggested a fat brown woman.

"Stacy leave the the gal alone. Har people dem a vote fi har."

"Magnum a waste a time. Too much bias a gwaan from the other day. All the same we can't argue because the Chiney them a vote for them people," replied a rasta man on the bus.

"Ras come out a dis. Mi seh Bad Gal Bambi can gwaaan dou. Mi want har fi win" replied Stacy.

The rest of the journey was filled with talks of other happenings in the country and Ezra giggled to himself about the language style of the people native to Jamaica. He put it aside eventually and focused on the real reason for coming to Jamaica. It was to meet the famous Grand White Witch that lived in the Blue Mountains, but it would prove to be a dangerous trip as many persons rumored Jamaica to be a dangerous island and the mountains being worse.
