Not Just A Teacher...

Shawn unlocks his Jeep door and gets in and I do the same. Once I sit down and close the door I just stare out the front window not wanting to look at Shawn. I could feel he was staring at me and I just can't look at him when he's upset.
"Ummm Shawn w-w-What are we going to do?" I say looking down at my hands.
"I don't know since Max has those photos he could spread them anywhere and it will affect my job. Being a teacher does help me pay my taxes and be able to survive living on my own." He replies putting his hand on mine
I look up and turn to see Shawn's eyes filling up with tears and I start to breathe heavily.
"Sh-Shawn Max said that h-he won't spread them if I do a favour for him"
I sniffle
"I-I don't know what it is but.."I try to say before breaking out into tears.
Shawn leans over and hugs me.
"It's okay honey" He whispers while he sniffles slightly.
I pull out of the hug as I know Shawn and I can't be a thing.
"No it's not okay Shawn, I fucking knew this was wrong from the beginning. This is all my fault I made the first move, I lead you on and we're stuck here because of me!" I exclaim and I see multiple tears stream down Shawn's face.
"You're my teacher.... literally no one would accept our relationship. It's illegal Shawn and I know that you know that" I whisper looking up into his hazel green and holding his soft face with my hands.

"I might as-well just e-end this Shawn and do that favour for Max" I whimper
"No you should haven't do shit for him!" Shawn yells
"No no I have to for the both of us I'm pretty sure you don't want me getting bullied and suspended and you losing your job and possibly being arrested " I say calming him and Shawn nods his head.

"Um do you wanna pack your stuff and go back to your house or stay at Jenna's" Shawn says and my eyes widen
"Oh you don't want me to stay over for an hour at least?" I ask
"No I'll crave you more" He weakly smirks as we both put our seatbelts on and he drives.

During the journey we didn't talk once or even share a look. We pull up on his driveway around 1pm.
We both get out the car with sad expressions on our faces and Shawn opens the door to his house and I walk inside.
"Uh Shawn I'll just be upstairs packing my stuff back" I mumble
"Oh ok" Shawn replies scratching the back of his neck as I walk up the stairs.
I go into his bedroom and put my toothbrush and other items back into my duffle bag.
Suddenly my phone goes off and I check to see it my mum and dad texting me.

Dad:Sweetie your mum and I are currently driving home from the airport. We're coming home!!!❤️Hope you're doing well after that incident ☹️

Mum: Your dad and I have vowed to always be by your side and make you feel safe. We didn't tell you we were coming as we wanted it be a surprise we'll be back in 30mins. Hope you're fine honey 😘😘.

I now realise that even if Shawn and I weren't being threatened by Max my parents would've still been a burden to our relationship. That's if Shawn even thinks we're official but now we're absolutely not.

I reply back sending the same message to my mum and dad because I can't be bothered anymore
Me: Everything's fine Jenna's mum is going to drop me off at home now. Glad you guys are coming back ☺️❤️

I pick up my duffle and school bag and go downstairs to see Shawn on his phone leaning on the kitchen counter with no expression on his face.
"Umm Sh-Mr Mendes I need to be dropped off as my parents are returning home soon" I hesitate looking down at the counter and I can see his eyes widen a bit at me not calling him by his first name.
"Okay I'll drop you off Y/N" He says sliding his phone in his pocket.
We walk over to the jeep and he drives me back to my house.
"Thanks for driving me here sir" I slightly smirk trying to lighten the mood
"Your welcome" He replies solemnly
We suddenly gain eye contact with each other and we get lost in each other's eyes as we kiss passionately. Our lips moved at the same time and Shawn's tongue slipped into my mouth which made me smirk but I pulled out of the kiss. I look down at the floor and sigh and say
"See you on Monday Mr Mendes". I open the door and take my bags out of his jeep as I walk over to my door and unlock it. I turn around to see Shawn staring at me with a stream of tears down his face and his eyes becoming puffy. I lift my hand and give a small wave and he does the same as he drives off.

I close the door behind me and rush upstairs leaving my bags downstairs into my bedroom. I jump onto my bed and ball my eyes out taking deep breaths.
I pick up my phone and text Jenna about everything's that happened and her reply was
Jenna: I'm coming over to discuss this with you I'm bringing two boxes of Krispy Kreme and tubs of ice cream😩

Everything just gets fucked up in my life doesn't it....
