Faith's POV

It's been two weeks since Dave and I's run in at Walgreens. Nothing really has happened since. I haven't talk to him and he hasn't talked to me. At first I was excited. Thinking we'd become friends or something. Negative. I'm not worried about it though. I have other things on my mind.

My summer is winding down and it's about time for me to head back to New York to start my last year of college. While being out here, I really needed to figure out what I wanted to do with this degree. Of course I love singing, it's my passion. I just cannot get over this stage freight. My mind is leaning more towards producing or maybe even being a manager. I don't know. I do know I want to work around music though.

With my entrepreneurial side I think I want to open up my own nail bar. Something boujie, but on a budget. Serves drinks, has marble tables, chandeliers, the whole nine. And no extra charges for nail shape. I don't wear acrylics, but when I did that was so annoying.

Currently I am chilling in my condo on my laptop searching for some things for my apartment in New York. My best friend and I have an apartment together and I'm always online shopping for things for us to spruce up the place. Boxes coming just about every week. Some may say I have a problem. I say I just like new things.

Someone knocking on my door caused me to get up. Looking through the peep hole I see a man with flowers.

"Hi...can I help you?" I was so confused right now and my face showed it.

"Are you Faith Henderson?"

"....yes. I am." Okay sis relax. Obviously these are for you.

"Could you sign here, please?" He asked giving me the clipboard to sign my signature.

Once I received the flowers I took them inside to analyze then and see who they were from. Hoping they're from who I think they're from.

I was right

I was right. David  himself. Seeing that there was a note attached I read it. He was asking me on a date. A date with Dave East. Sounds great, right? I would say so too, but I can't. Not in public. I decided to shoot him a text letting him know I got them and giving him my answer to his question.
