Collin crouched on the roof of the palace, peering through the skylights into the throne room.

He had got Apollo to slightly shift the sun so his shadow wouldn't appear on the throne room floor. Athena had helped him onto the roof, (she pointed towards a ladder that wasn't there before), and Poseidon had agreed to convince Zeus to explain the battle plan to him.

At least half the Gods didn't want this war. But Zeus was king so they couldn't openly oppose him without having to run to the Underworld and beg Hades to let them in.

Zeus sat on his throne while Poseidon and Athena stood in front of him, trying to get him to explain.

"Why do you always believe Hades is out to get your throne?" Poseidon asked his brother.

"His dark powers allow him to hide and scheme without me knowing," Zeus growled, "Of course I would suspect him!".

"Maybe it is because you don't make an effort to get to know him?" Athena asked.

"What do you mean?!" Zeus demanded, "I know him well enough!".

"Do you know what he does in his spare time?" Poseidon asked, "Do you know about the daily going on's in the Underworld? What about his favourite foods?".

"Did you know he had books of exotic cuisines?" Athena asked.

"I am King of the Gods," Zeus scoffed, "I don't have time to ask my isolated brother about his personal life".

"That very fact that you would say that saddens me, brother," Poseidon said sadly before walking out.

Athena gave her father a sympathetic look before following her uncle out of the throne room, leaving Zeus confused and troubled.
