A sense of cold shot through Bane's body before he fell out of his body, watching it vaporise. But his sword lasted long enough to impale the core of Typhon, stopping the Father of Monsters just before he crushed the crowd of fleeing Demigods, Saytrs, Nymphs, Dryads and Naiads.

Then Bane realised that there were hands clasping his arms. He looked up to see Thanatos carry him through the air before dive-bombing the ground, passing straight through it.

Thanatos said something to Bane but the Demigod couldn't hear his friend. But he took the gold drachma that the God gave him. Bane paid Charon and the ferryman rowed him across the River Styx.

Bane followed the crowd of souls through the Underworld. He looked up to see Cerberus watching the souls and making sure they don't push or try to escape.

But only the viper head was on guard. The main three heads were looking for something. Then the middle one spotted Bane and the rest started barking with joy at seeing their friend and master.

Bane waved at the Hellhound before passing underneath him and walking into the dark tunnel. When he stepped out into the light, he stood before the Three Judges.

They all stood on tall pedestals, staring down at him. But then Hades stepped out of the shadows. "I will pass judgement on this mortal," the King of the Underworld announced.

"We know this is your son," one of the Judges hissed, "You would have him rewarded".

"Does he not deserve that?" Hades asked, his tone daring the Judges to argue.

"Yes," the Judge who spoke said after a moment.

"Then he will be allowed to live with me in my palace. I think it is fitting for the Prince of the Underworld to be dead".

And with that Bane La Mortis lived his eternal days in Hades' Palace, helping his father rule the Underworld.
