That whole night Arden spent tossing and turning in her bed, thinking about so many things. She thought about the Zoo, that night where RagingGrizzly followed her, her friends being attacked...everything that had happened the past two weeks.
She also thought about Brandon...and her encounter with him when she got home from Stinger's. She couldn't stop wondering what was going on with him, why he seemed so upset last night.

Brandon's dad eyed her up and down, making Arden stop mid-sentence, feeling uncomfortable, especially when he gave Brandon a light smack on the head and smirked.
"Not bad," his father commented, then looked at her, "Hey, uh, you guys in class together?"
Arden hesitated for a minute, before slowly nodding her head, "Yeah...we're working on a class project right now...so I was just—"
