"I'm done crying for,
Moments I once adored,
Why is all this in pieces?
Can't you let it lie?"

\\ ARSONIST'S LULLABY //

Some time after crying on the floor by her front door, Arden managed to pick herself up and carry herself to bed. She couldn't remember much of what happened last night after leaving Brandon's house. Her body must have collapsed under all the stress and sadness. Everything just somehow blurred together.

She woke the next morning and instantly the pain flooded through her again but body was too tired to cry. Arden rolled over on her stomach and nestled her head into her pillow, just wanting to lay in bed all day and ignore the world and her problems. It was Saturday, so she could just lay there under the sheets, eat a bunch of comfort food, maybe binge watch a tv show or two...possibly cry between when she thought about her tragedy of a life.

But unfortunately Arden couldn't afford the luxury of avoidance. Her phone chimed from her nightstand, and she quietly groaned into her pillow. Dreadfully, she reached over and grabbed her phone, unlocking it to see that she had a text from Rowan telling her to meet her, Elisia, and Hailey at Stinger's hideout and that he had some stuff to go over with them.

Sighing to herself, Arden laid her head back on her pillow, staring at the screen for a few minutes, feeling too exhausted and drained to move. But eventually, she texted Rowan back letting her know that she was on the way and would be there shortly.

She found herself pushing herself out of bed, the only motivation she could find was that maybe this meeting could give them some answers, a way to end this.

All she wanted was for all of this to be over so she could start picking up the seemingly scattered pieces of her life.

When Arden finally met up at the church, Rowan, Hailey, and Elisia were already there, sitting down in one of the pews. Stinger was up front, seeming to be enveloped in his computer as she walked down and sat down in the pew next to Elisia.

They all greeted her and not too short after, Stinger unplugged his laptop from up on the stage and walked down towards them. He leant up against the pew in front of them and propped his computer on his lap.

"Okay so, KingCobra's looking for members in the deep web." Stinger informed them, "He's looking for people who will kill you guys. Not just scare you. Like, bang, bang, bang, bang kill you guys."
