\\ SEE YOU LATER //

Things started coming back to Arden slowly, piece by piece as the darkness she had fallen into started drifting away. She heard a groan escape her lips as she felt pain starting to radiate in her head, moving from the back of her skull to the front.

The next thing she felt was something scratching loosely around her wrists as well as something pressed over her mouth. As the pain dulled a little, she was able to slowly open her eyes, blinking back the blurriness of her vision until everything started to clear up. She was staring at a wooden floor, and she found herself sitting in a chair, with her arms bound behind her back.

She tried to speak but she realized that there was duct tape over her mouth, and when she tried to move forward, she felt constraints like wires tied around her wrists behind her back and waist to keep her bound to the chair.

It was then when she slowly picked her head up and looked straight ahead, and when she focused on what was across from her, she froze.

Bound to a chair in the same way she was, was Brandon. His head hung low, still unconscious. Her heart slammed against the walls of her chest, hoping that he was only unconscious and not seriously hurt.

She looked around the room, trying to figure out where they were. It looked like a bedroom of a cabin of some sort. There was a window in the corner of the room but the curtains were drawn over them so she couldn't see what was outside.

Her breathing picked up as she looked back at Brandon and tried to call out his name to see if he would wake up, but her voice came out muffled because of the duct tape...and she couldn't speak loud enough for him to hear her.

"Well, well, well...look who's awake."

Arden's eyes snapped to the doorway, seeing none other than Zoe standing there, with a sadistic grin.

Zoe, who was thought to be dead up until this morning.

Zoe, who had been behind all of this alongside Stinger aka her boyfriend Lance Broadly.

Anger rushed through Arden as Zoe closed the door behind her and walked over, holding something behind her back. She then glanced over at Brandon and frowned.

"Hm...he's still out," Zoe commented, "I might have hit him a little harder than you..."

Arden glared at her, pulling at the wires that kept her wrists bound. Zoe brought her hand out from behind her back, revealing a bottle of water, which was a relief to Arden because she was imagining something far worse.
