•I decided to draw this because I couldn't find anything else to fit this. Btw, this is Gavin with his head down. I can't draw faces so- you'll understand throughout the chapter•

"It's 11pm, you should head to bed, Gavin," Conan informed me when the movie had ended.

I shrug, not looking forward to sleeping, "let's just watch another movie," I say, about to say 'Tv, put on the movie, 'Deadpool'' but he interrupted.

"Detective, you need sleep. You're already sleep deprived," he spoke with a frown.

I bite my lip, knowing he's right.

"What's the matter?" He questions, leaning forward on his elbows.

"Nothing," I sigh, standing up. "You can either rest on the couch unless you want to sleep in the guest bedroom. There's nothing in there besides a bed and a small, side table."

He stands, grasping my arm when I start to walk towards my bedroom. I flinch in reflex but remind myself that he isn't going to hurt me.

He takes his hand away once he realizes his mistake, "I apologize. But you seem distressed, what's the matter? Talk to me, Gavin, you know I'm here to help you."

I sigh once again, going and sitting back down on the couch with my hands under my thighs. I let my head fall forward to keep myself from looking at him. But then I remember that he won't judge me. My body relaxes and I pick my head up, making slight eye contact with him.

"Ever since the incident, I would have nightmares. I mean, yeah, I 'got sleep', but the nightmares got so bad that they sometimes kept me up all night. The only thing that helps is hourly alarms to help me wake up when and if I have a nightmare because I frequently can't wake myself up."

He gave me a doleful look and scooted closer, "I'm sorry, Gavin."

I never thought that an Android could express such an emotion through their face.

"It's okay I guess. I'm used to it. I just always get nervous before going to bed so I try to stay up as long as I can."

"That's not something you should be used to. It's terrible. That must be difficult to deal with."

"Yeah..." I mumble, sitting there before standing up once again.

"Well... goodnight," I say, about to walk off again before he says, "wait, Gavin."

"Having company while sleeping does relieve pain in your body. It encourages feelings of safety and security," he quickly stated.

I felt my heart go into my throat, "a-and? What about it?"

"Well, maybe I could sit with you until you fell asleep. I don't know, I could maybe help you sleep better..."

Relief spread throughout my body and I debated it in my head.

"Sure, tin can, just let me get into comfortable clothes," I say before finally walking to my bedroom and closing the door. I grabbed out some sweatpants that ended up hanging low off my hips and I left my shirt on because why not?

I walk back out into the living room and he looks up at me, his eyes widening. I raise an eyebrow in question.

"What?"

"Nothing," he says, his LED spinning yellow.

I observe him more closely and see a blue tint over his face, "why is your face blue?"

It was an odd thing but I quickly put pieces together. The androids have blue blood, therefore, have a blue blush. I didn't even realize they could blush, much less get flustered. I have to admit, it's pretty cute.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he replies, keeping his ground.

I smirk, letting it slide, "alright, what movie do you want to watch?"

I only realize something when he speaks, "I don't know."

I laugh at my stupidity, "oh yeah, you don't know any movies because you literally just opened your eyes a few days ago. Alright, choose a title that seems most interesting, 'What Happened to Monday' or 'The Breakfast Club'?"

"Hm, the Breakfast Club sounds interesting," he says and I smile.

"Excellent choice," I say, telling the tv to open Netflix and then I turn on the movie.

I sit on the couch, my arm resting on the arm of the sofa. My feet are tucked to the side of me and I take the blanket off the back of the couch and throw it over me. I snuggle into my spot, keeping my eyes on Emilio Estevez and Judd Nelson.
