Tina had left the apartment to go get the pizza and Chloe cleaned up the bottles that I had thrown.

"You should lay down until Tina gets back," she spoke, not even looking up at me.

I don't say anything, I just lay down like she suggests. I rest my head on the couch arm and that's enough to make me close my eyes and go into a light sleep.

Something was thrown over me and I open one eye to see that it was just a blanket.

"Um, thanks... can I ask you a question?" I say.

"Sure, what's up?" She stops what she's doing to look at me.

"What do you think I should do?" I question.

She frowns, "well for one, I think you should stop drinking. And two, I believe you should give him a chance. I've talked to him and though he hasn't deviated, he's more human than when Conner first came to the department."

"What do you mean he's more human?"

"You'll just have to see yourself," she shrugs and walks off to the kitchen to clean in there though it wasn't very dirty.

I shake my head and close my eyes once again, falling into a deep nightmare.
