“Hey, it’s almost four o’clock” I yell to Callista2, who is in her bedroom. Her door opens, and she emerges, looking more gorgeous than ever, the blue streak in her hair looking absolutely stunning. “It is? Well we should get going then” She says, winking and walking toward me. “Yeah...” I say, sighing. “What?” She asks, stopping and standing in front of me. “Nothing, you just look extremely pretty today” I say, smiling at her. She blushes slightly and turns her face, so her hair obscures my view of her red cheeks. After a second she looks back, and says, “Thank you, as do you” Smiling back. “Let’s go check out those elevators, shall we?” I say, smiling and turning to face the door. “I agree” She replies, coming and standing beside me. I smile and open the door for her. She exits our apartment, and I follow closely behind on our way to the elevator. When we get into the hallway, I see Chris3 walking toward us. I wave, and he yells back saying, “Hi!” When we get closer, he asks, “Where are you two going?” With a smile plastered onto his face, and his cheekbones pushing on his glasses. “Nowhere important” I reply, attempting to change the subject. “Well maybe we can meet up later?” He asks, his face showing somewhat of a secret. “Yeah, of course” I reply back, smiling at him, and slowly walking past him. “Bye for now then” I say to him, smiling and waving as Callista2 smiles and waves at him as well. “Bye” He says, standing in the hallway, looking very tired and solemn. “Do you think he’s okay?” Callista2 asks me when we are out of earshot. “Yeah he’ll be fine” I reply back, hoping that I’m correct. We turn a few more corners until we get to the elevator, and Tiffany and Leixia4 are already there waiting. Tiffany spots us and waves us over eagerly. We jog over before Leixia4 starts talking, “I can’t explain anything until everyone is here, but are either of you up for going to The Bottom?” She asks, her eyes brown eyes wide with excitement. Callista2 and I exchange looks, but neither of us want to be alone if we get caught down there. We both shake our heads slowly and Leixia4 sighs while muttering something under her breath. “When will the others get here?” I ask Tiffany. “They should be here soon, it’s almost four” She replies, looking around. A few minutes later, Maddie2, Dani, and the silent girl (Whose name I still do not know), show up. “Hey, are we ready?” Maddie2 asks, while the group approaches us. “Just about, any of you want to volunteer to go to The Bottom?” Leixia4 asks. They all look around, and then all shake their heads no. “Well someone has to go” She says, putting a hand on her hip. Everyone is silent for a few seconds, then Callista2 sheepishly raises her hand. “Great, thank you for being the only brave one in the group” Leixia4 says, smiling. “My pleasure” Callista2 replies, although I can hear her voice shaking. “I’m going too then” I say hesitantly. “We don’t need more than one person to go, and we also need you to help open the doors. They’re pretty heavy you know.” Leixia4 says, trying to convince me to stay with the group. “No, if Callista2 is going, then so am I” I say, putting my foot down. Leixia4 just nods, and then continues, “Alright, so that means Maddie2, Dani, and Samantha will stay here with us, while Callista2 and Roger go down to The Bottom.” We all agree, and then put the plan into action.
