“Well we can’t just write it and send it immediately after the incident, can we?” I add to the conversation. “Of course we can, there’s not like a rule that you can’t send a message to The Guild after a certain event.” Callista2 states. “Okay, then how should we start? ‘Dear The Guild’?” Chris3 asks, getting himself ready to start writing. Callista2 answer, “Yes, but you can’t be the one to write it. They’ll recognize your handwriting and won’t send a response back to us. I need to write it.” “Why do you have such a great connection with The Guild? Do you two have a special relationship together?” Chris3 jokes, and hands over the paper and pen. “No, I just used to write to them a lot, and now they know who I am.” She says back, smiling. “Alright” He says, slumping down in the couch. Callista2 gets up from the couch armrest, and sits between us so she can write on the coffee table. I look at the paper as she writes in perfect cursive, “Dear The Guild. Hey! It’s Callista2 again with another question. There was an execution today in the Main Living space by a man in a red vest, and I was wondering if you could give me a little insight on his background? Also, one of my close friends saw vents on one of the channels on the television, but when we went to all the floors to look, nothing was there. Can you explain that as well? Just let me know as soon as you can, bye! Ever so kindly, Callista2” She sits back and smiles as she waits for our opinion. “It’s good, but what’s up with the vents?” Chris3 asks. I proceed to explain to him the whole vent situation, and at the end he says, “Oh, okay. Then yeah, I think you should include that because now I’m a bit curious myself.” “Okay, then I’ll just head up to the Specialized Level and deliver this” Callista2 says with a smile, before standing up from the couch and walking over by the door. “I’ll go too” Chris3 says, also standing up and walking up next to her. Her smile broadens and she says “Okay, what about you Roger?” “Nah it’s fine, I’ll hang back. Actually, now that I think of it, I need to go to Cafeteria. I’ll catch up with you later.” I reply. “Alrighty, see ya” Callista2 says smiling, waving goodbye as she exits, and then Chris3 doing the same. I reach for the remote and scroll through the channels on the television, until I hit the channel with the vents. 52737 is still down in the lower left hand corner of the screen. Why does my name tag have the same number? Is it just a coincidence or does it mean anything? And why were there no vents on any of the floors? It’s possible that they are elsewhere in the building, but where? I can’t think of any hallway I haven’t been in that’s in this facility. I rub my eyes and stand up to walk to Cafeteria. Walking out of the door seems eerie to me for some reason, although it’s probably just the after effects of what happened to Hugh. I shrug it off and make my way to the elevator, and looking down at the Main Living space. The corpses are gone, but people are still not there. It looks astonishingly creepy without all the hustle and bustle. I click the button next to the elevator and wait for the doors to open. When they do, I step aside out of courtesy, and Callista2 and Chris3 are there waiting. “Hey again!” Callista2 says, smiling widely. “Hey” I reply back. “I’m going to go chill out in our apartment, talk to you two later” Chris3 says, before snapping his fingers and winking at us as he exits the elevator. “Well, I was on my way down to Cafeteria” I say, walking inside the elevator and clicking the “1” button. “Great, so am I” She replies. We descend down one floor and exit the elevator, and make a few turns down hallways to the Cafeteria. “So um...What did you and Chris3 talk about while delivering the letter?” I ask, trying to be nonchalant. She slows to a stop and then grabs my arm. “Are you jealous?” She says, her smile growing wider, and my face growing redder. “No...” I say, looking away from her to avoid more embarrassment. “I’m just kidding, let’s go eat” She says laughing. “Oh” I say, also chuckling, and following her into the Cafeteria room.
