I try to stay focused on my own work, but Callista2 is a beautiful distraction. I know for a fact that just halfway through the class, I had looked at her at least 30 times. I don’t know exactly what it is about her, but she just seems to have this aura. I felt her look at me a few times too, with those big brown eyes. The emotions of the brain on the laptop weren’t intriguing at all when compared to her. I try to get my mind back to Dream Study by telling myself of what The Guild would do if I got low test scores. That definitely got me focused into the laptop, but by the time I really got into it, the class was over. “Tomorrow there will be a quiz on what you have learned” Katie said. A quiz on what we’ve learned? What have we learned so far other than clicking a screen? A groan echoes throughout the room, and I was a part of it. “You are now dismissed, please exit and proceed to your next class” Katie smiles softly and gestures toward the door. Everyone in the room gets up and exits, as well as Callista2 and I. Once we’re outside we stand beside the doorway and talk. “How did you like Dream Study?” I ask her. “It was...Repetitive.” She says, smiling at me. “That is what it’s known for. Oh and by the way, I don’t think you’ll have to take the test tomorrow since you’ve only been here a day.” I assure her. “It’s okay if I have to, what’s the worst they can do?” She responds, but I can see a hint of unease in her eyes. “It’s going to be fine” I say, rubbing her arm again. She smiles and then hugs me tightly. I smile, even though she can’t see it, and pat her back. She feels cold, even though we are meant to be warm here. She releases me and then just stands back and stares down the hallway. “Let’s go check our schedules” I say to her, and slowly start walking toward our apartment. I feel her follow me, even though she didn’t give an answer. It only takes a few minutes to get to our room, but without talking it feels like a lifetime. When we get close I see Chris3 waiting by my door for Physical Workout. I check my watch, and it reads 12:10, five minutes before my next class starts. “Hey, ready to pump up those muscles?” Chris3 says as we approach, flexing his bicep. Both Callista2 and I look at the small amount of strength he has built up, and she giggles. Chris3’s face turns red as he slowly return his arm to his side. “Yeah, just tell me when you’re ready” I reply, slowing to a stop in front of him. “I’m ready whenever you are” He says, with an eager smile. Callista2 puts both hands on my left shoulder, leans up and whispers, “I’m going to go inside and check my schedule, I’ll meet up with you later” And with that, she hops over to the door and steps inside, shutting it softly behind her. “Let’s get to Physical Workout” I say with a smile. “Alrighty” He says, grinning as well, matching my enthusiasm. We both start jogging to class to get our legs stretched.
