Chris3 turns to me and says “So, my apartment or yours?”. I don’t really mind seeing if his room is any different from mine, but I am a bit curious. “We can go to your place if that’s cool” I respond, gesturing toward his door. He smiles before turning the handle and opening the entryway. He holds the door open for me while I step inside. His house is pretty symmetrical to mine, although I do notice one thing the second I step inside. All the furniture is moved to the sides of the living room, making a huge gap in the middle. “Why is all the furniture spread out like that?” I ask him. “My roommate is a fitness buff, whenever he gets the chance to build up some muscle, he does; Even if it means I have to smell his odor in the living room” He says, laughing silently to himself. I walk slowly around the room, scanning how big it is. It seems huge compared to my apartment, even though I know they’re the same size. “So let’s go take a look at your schedule” I say, sighing. “Alrighty” Chris3 says before heading off into his room and closing the door behind him. “I guess he doesn’t want me in there...” I think to myself before pacing back and forth in the living room. He reemerges with his tablet in hand. He’s looking down at it, the tips of his eyebrows scrunched up. “What time is our class?” I ask. “It says here that it’s supposed to start at 12:15.” I pull my watch out and see that it reads 12:11. “We should probably get going then.” I state. He looks up from his tablet and nods in agreement before walking over to the couch and setting it down. We walk out of the doorway and start walking down the hallways back to Room 209. We turn the first corner and then a question pops into my head. “Where is your roommate anyway?” I say aloud, still looking straight ahead. “He’s never around, probably busy in the Main Living Space or something.” Chris3 replies back. “Oh” I mutter. What kind of person would clear out all that space in the living room, to not even be around to use it? I push the thought to the back of my head and continue walking. “What about you? What’s your roommate like?” He asks me. “He’s pretty normal. From what I can tell, he also spends most of his free time in the Main Living Space.” I answer. Now that I think about it, I don’t really know Hugh all that well. I should spend some quality time with him sometime. I put that on my mental to-do list as we approach the classroom entrance. The door is open, and we both step inside. This looks just like the room on The Bottom. There are a few treadmills, some weight machines, and some regular dumbells. I glance over the room and see a few students on the treadmills, but other than that it’s empty. “I guess we should wait for our instructor?” I say to Chris3. “Yeah. Let’s go sit over there” He says, pointing over to the opposite side of the room. “Sounds good” I say.
