We Make A Really Good Team

Shiro and Adam were more than a little surprised to get home and find Keith curled up in bed with someone. And an Alpha at that. And that Alpha being Lance was very confusing to them. Not to mention all of the lights were out and the two were so close together definitely made Shiro hyperventilate.

Long story short, Adam had to calm him down and Lance spent the night. It was the longest anyone outside of their little family of three had been in their house for a long time. Keith was a nervous wreck at first, and it didn't help that Shiro eyed Lance suspiciously all throughout dinner, but in the end it was fine.

Unavoidably, school came around again the following Monday, and Keith was dreading it. He didn't know how to handle what happened with Lance. Sure they had known each other for ages, they were pretty close, but they never really hung out with just each other since the seventh grade. It was mostly just group activities or running into each other before that Friday night. And this new development was not something that he was used to.

So when he was forced to go to school on Monday and put up with his dumb classes as well as having to see Lance all day he was understandably irritated with life itself.

"But why can't I just stay at the house?" Keith whined from the passenger's seat, turning to look over at Adam who was driving him to school.

"Because your education is important Keith. And you can't just skip classes because you're nervous about seeing that cute boy who stayed over the other night," the older Omega hummed, eyes trained on the road.

"First of all, an online education is just as good as any other nowadays, you're just old. Also, you're going to be married to my brother soon, should you really be going around saying that guys about seven years younger than you are cute?"

"Just because I've already ordered, and I'm very happy with what I ordered, doesn't mean I can't still be impressed by the menu," Adam answered amusedly.

"Okay ew. Lance is way too young for you, you pedophile. And I don't need to hear how you're very happy with what you 'ordered' when the topic of discussion is my brother," Keith shivered.

"What can I say? He treats me well," Adam wiggled his eyebrows.

"A-ADAM!"

The tanner man laughed out loud and nearly swerved off the road when Keith punched him in the arm.

School was still the same boring hellhole like usual.

Class after class of the same standardized lessons bullshit. Nothing new and nothing nothing surprising at Garrison Academy. It sounds all fancy but it's just the same shitty high school with nicer bathrooms. But then came the dreaded third hour art class that he shared with a certain blue-eyed Alpha.

Keith's heart was palpitating as he took his usual seat in the back of the class across from Lance and next to Romelle. Allura was diagonal to him.

Their teacher, Mr. Coran (nobody called him by his last name for some reason), went over their agenda for the day. Take some time to do some retouches on their last projects about the color wheel and then start discussing their new one.

Seemed simple enough.

Time flew by as Keith perfected his sculpture inspired by the color wheel and soon he was listening to Mr. Coran again.

"Alright, today we are going to be starting our new project! Instead of working on a specific technique or anything, we're going to be being doing a group project! And it's going to be conceptual! For this project you and a partner will have to make a piece that represents your relationship with the partner that you choose! This is an opportunity to get to know new people or have new experiences with friends, and yes, they have to be from this hour. This will also be a major part of your citizenship grades, two birds with one stone, and the catch is you have to do different art mediums for this project, and yes they have to be only groups of two! You'll have a few months for this but don't leave it for last minute!"
