[[happy new year! To start off the new year right I've presented you lovelies with plenty of angst and drugs! For real though I cried while writing this... good luck!]]
"The big one went away without a push, what's out plan for the smaller one? We need to get rid of him before we can get the Omega," a gruff voice said. Other Alpha's surrounded him, none of them defying the one who spoke not giving too much thought about what he just said.
All except one certain nameless Alpha with light blue eyes and can put on a convincing. Eyes that were so bloodshot that they made the interesting shade bead back and forth with insanity. They were glazed over with a haze of watery rage that he seemed to just be born with."I've got something. There's this Beta, knew them for a long time and doesn't particularly like them. He's got some dirt on that Alpha we can use."
"And how exactly can we be granted this Beta's loyalty?" the first Alpha leered. But the nameless Alpha didn't even at an eye at the first Alpha's throaty growling voice, instead he smirked up at him.
"The spiral is endless. He has some dirt on that Lance douche and I have dirt on the Beta."
The first Alpha grunted, shifting his weight to lean over menacingly. Some of the other Alpha's backed away from him, seeing as he was taller, broader, and more mysterious than the rest of them.
But the blue-eyed bloodshot Alpha didn't even twitch away from how close the other Alpha had gotten to him. In fact he smiled at him when the taller Alpha spit on him as he said, "I don't trust someone out of my group without a name."
"I have a name."
The taller Alpha sat back and crossed his arms. "Who?" is all he asks.
Blue-eyes spoke up once more. "Griffin is his name. James Griffin."
The first Alpha just raised his eyebrow and leaned back. He huffed as a dismissal to his group, satisfied that blue-eyes would get the job done.
Just the thought of the certain group member could send shivers down his side. Because, whether he liked it or not, even he got creeped by the guy. He was always the last to leave, staring right at him with a challenge twisted at his pale mouths. He could act like the most decent human being on the planet, but inside he was frozen over and raging at the same time.
It could make an absolute brute hesitate their step towards him.
...
"Yeah, I knew them both when we were, like, twelve. What's it to you?" Blue-eyes slammed James's locker, just barely grazing the Beta's hand with the edge of the locker due to his careless speed.
James glared at him but cringed backward at the expression on the Alpha's face. His expression was cold and menacing, more bloodshot than normal. The Beta knew that he meant business, not just everyday harassment, when that burning look too home in his eyes.
"I want to know because I want to know. I don't need to answer to a ball-less Beta like you Griffin. Don't get in my way and I won't make your life a living hell."
The scariest part was that he spoke as if he were listing a menu. Soulless and pointed, neither the rage or the coldness that were present in his eyes were in his tone.
Griffin clenched his teeth, feeling the sweat bead up on his head. He looked to side in hesitation before forcing his vocal cords to work.
"Lance had it bad with drugs. Like, bad bad. I got this video of him, back in eighth grade. He was purchasing drugs and god did he look desperate. Mind you that he had missed nearly a month of school at that point. He was desperate, begging for it to the point that his Alpha came out and he..." James trailed off. The Beta felt shivers run down his back at the mere memory of what had occured that night.
