Dagnabbit, she was still alive.

(Y/n) dully stared at her reflection in the bathroom mirror as she robotically brushed her teeth. She was just fresh out of the shower, with a towel still wrapped around her body as she got ready to go to school.

Although she had a shower, she looked like a hot mess. Her hair, which she had woken up to find it looking like something a cat had puked out, was washed and wrapped in a "towel hat". No words could explain how long she took to untangle the knots she had in that hair. The girl was truly thankful that she was the only one in their bathroom. That way, the others wouldn't be able to see the fifty shades of dark circles under her lidded eyes.

After writing in her diary, she had gone to bed thinking she'd get some sleep, only to toss and turn until four in the morning, when she was finally able to sleep. And that's when she discovered one of the lightest of sleep ever known to man.

Due to her exhaustion, she had perfectly managed to sleep through her alarm and the everyday morning ruckus in the dorms. If it weren't for the random loud series of knocks on her door that startled the shit out of her and caused her to awake, she could've slept right through homeroom. And that wouldn't have been pretty.

After she finished brushing, (Y/n) rinsed her mouth off and trudged back to her room. She didn't bother dressing up before leaving the bathroom, knowing that the dorms had been cleared out already. Even if she did bump into someone, more so a guy (she didn't want to think too much on who specifically), she was too tired to give a fuck.

On reaching her room unbothered, she dressed up in her school uniform and proceeded to dry off her hair before brushing it. She would've applied concealer under her eyes if she had some. And even if she did it's not like it would've concealed the fact that she looked and felt like shit.

Who was she kidding, she was utter shit after the previous night.

Satisfied that she looked at least presentable, she grabbed her bag, phone, and school shoes and exited her room to head downstairs.

As she passed by the common area, (Y/n)'s eyes roamed around the empty sofas, the memories of the previous chaotic night flooding back into her mind.

She grimaced. She really should've never given into Midoriya's charms and come out of her room...Either way, it was too late to regret that now.

Making her way towards the door, her forehead creased when she saw Shouto standing in front of the door. Not doing anything, just standing there, staring at her.

As if that wasn't weird.

"Morning Todoroki," (Y/n) said as she dropped her shoes on the floor, choosing not to question why he was there.

"Morning," he replied coolly, mismatched eyes intently watching her as she slipped off her house slippers to put on her school shoes.

(Y/n) straightened up and tapped the tip of her shoe on the ground to make it fit. Looking back at Shouto, she blinked in confusion.

"What?"

The boy tucked a hands into his pocket. "For someone who's seventy percent water, you don't look very refreshing."

"Ha," she intoned flatly. She then drew in a sharp breath. "At this point in my life, if a clown invited me to go to the woods, I'd just go."

The male lowly hummed and grabbed the handle to open the door. "You'd do well in there. With those dark circles under your eyes, you're starting to look like a raccoon."

The girl snorted. "I know right?"

Mumbling a small thanks to the boy when he held the door open for her, she stepped outside into the morning cool air. Shouto followed her out, closing the door behind him and fell into step with her as they began their journey to school.
