A pair of hands grabbed hold of the curtains and enthusiastically pulled them back, allowing the morning light to shine into the room and illuminating it in its warm glow.
Yawning, (Y/n) rose her arms over her head and stretched, relishing in the pleasurable feeling of her joints popping and muscles loosening up. With a low moan, she let her arms fall back to her sides before grabbing the handles to the balcony door and sliding them open.
She was hit by the cool morning breeze as she made her way into the balcony and stopped at the balcony's railing. Pulling down the sleeves of her onesie to cover her cold hands, she wrapped her arms around herself and closed her eyes. She then drew in a long breath of the refreshing air before releasing it in a loud exhale. From her balcony, she could gaze at nature at its best and most glorious hour, dawn. Despite the other dormitory buildings that stretched out within the landscape, they still couldn't hide the beauty of the sunrise as it slowly rose to the beautiful blue sky, its rays cool and warm.
The corner of her mouth twitched as she envisioned the perfect morning walk to start the seemingly perfect day as the sight itself filled her up with more energy. After getting a good night's rest of eleven hours, she felt reborn.
She sighed with a smile.
And just like that, she was ready to take on the new d-
"DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!"
And just like that, she was ready to jump over the balcony.
The surprise that had appeared on (Y/n)'s face slowly twisted into a grimace as she regarded the once beautiful morning with disgust and hate. Her shoulders sagging, the girl turned to walk back into her room and closed the balcony door behind her. Her eyes darted towards her front door and scowled.
Living next to Katsuki was one thing but having to share a floor with him was just plain cruelty on her behalf. It was like she was cursed to have him follow her everywhere, for fuck's sake! Same elementary school, same middle school, same high school, same class in all three cases, same street, same dorm floor, he sits behind her in class-what's next? Same agency and same coffin?!
And now he just had to spoil her morning like he did with everything else. As if having to hear he and his mother screaming at each other for years wasn't enough. It was no surprise that they've never had constant neighbors apart from her family, with the noise disturbance and all. But that's mostly because her dearest father had made the "mistake" of buying their house with a mortgage, otherwise they probably would've moved out too ages ago.
Oh, did she also mention that their parents just so happened to be the best of friends? Thus, giving them more reasons not to move out?
There was no other reasonable explanation. She must've done something very wrong in her previous life and Katsuki Bakugou was her curse in her current life.
With a loud groan, (Y/n) flopped onto her bed and buried her face into her pillow. Closing her eyes, she released a small whine. Her bed was still warm to the touch and inviting her to just pull the covers over her head and go back to sleep. If only school wasn't a thing, then maybe she would've.
Releasing a yawn, she forced herself to get up from her bed and grabbed a pair of sweatpants from her hamper. After putting it on, she picked up a large gown she had hung on the back of her reading chair and wore it over her onesie. After making the stupid mistake of stepping foot outside her balcony, she could still feel the effects of the morning cold nip at her body and was not about to take any chances again.
Without bothering to make her bed, she went out of her room.
"Morning, (Y/n)."
(Y/n) turned towards the person also coming out of her own room while she closed the door behind her.
