Once they got to the library, the four students found themselves an empty study room and occupied it. The study rooms were exclusive spaces designed for students to hold group discussions, complete with see-through sliding doors, sound proof walls, a white-board, and a large, wooden round table in the middle with six revolving chairs surrounding it.
For a state of the art school, UA had outdone itself with their library facilities.
(Y/n) grabbed the back of one of the chairs and turned it around to take a seat. She spun herself to face the table and placed her exercise books on it. Midoriya took the seat to her left, Shouto to her right and Uraraka chose the seat next to Midoriya.
(Y/n) opened up the books and took out the report papers and the blue pen she had stuffed in between them. While she was organizing her papers to begin her work, she spotted a large dictionary at the middle of the table and momentarily paused whatever she was doing to lean over to grab it.
"Hey check it out, guys," she said as she pulled the book closer to her. She studied its cover and smiled. "Someone left an English dictionary here."
She opened it to a random page and scanned through the foreign words. The rustling of papers and rapid turning of pages were the only sounds audible in the room while she tried to find a word she recognized.
"Oh," her eyes lit up and tapped on a word with her fingertip. "Here's a word."
The others looked up from their work to listen to her.
"Sibring," she read aloud, her thick Japanese accent mixing in with the English pronunciation.
"Ooh~" Uraraka intoned, leaning in. "What is that?"
"It's a person you'd give a kidney to in a heartbeat but at the same time, you wouldn't hesitate to smack the Jesus out them for breathing in your direction," (Y/n) held up a palm. "Like, there's no in between."
"I have three of those," Shouto confessed.
She turned to him with a grimace. "I have one."
He cocked his head to the side. "How old?"
"Seven. Brother," she gave a lopsided grin. "Or what I'd like to call the most annoying person to roam this miserable planet."
"You have people like that?"
"Yeah," she turned to Midoriya with a short chuckle. "They're called siblings."
"Welcome to our world, only children," Shouto said.
"Ahh," Uraraka sighed wistfully and rested her cheek on her palm. "I wish I had siblings. It must be fun to have other people around the house to talk to."
Shouto and (Y/n) shared a brief look of understanding.
"Ha ha, right," (Y/n) muttered bitterly while closing the dictionary. "...fun."
"I-It can't be that bad," when the two kept quiet, Midoriya shot them a nervous look. "C-Can it?"
(Y/n) scoffed and pushed the dictionary back to its original spot. "I'm gonna pretend you didn't say that and start on my report."

One hour had passed and the teenagers had been silently working on their reports with the occasional discussion taking place every ten minutes or so.
(Y/n) tapped the end of her pen against her lips while she stared down at her work.
Should I add that Katsuki tried to drown me or would that be overkill? She pondered. Gosh how many paragraphs have I written? She flipped back the pages and scowled. Ugh. Two and half pages? If only I had listened during the lessons after lunch. Maybe I would've had more content.
