The bathroom door was abruptly slammed against the wall, startling a few passing students in the hallway, as a dark-haired girl stomped out of the bathroom while a (h/c)-haired one desperately called after her.
"Wait! Satori!" (Y/n) tried to keep up with Satori but her chase was interrupted when she found a big group of students happening to conveniently crowd in front of a notice board, further widening the distance between her and Satori. In her panicked state, she elbowed her way past them while offering a hurried string of apologies to the affected.
Once she had found her way through, she located Satori, who had managed to get further away from her than (Y/n) liked.
"Satori!" she yelled, picking up her pace to catch up with her. "Stop!"
Said girl briefly looked over her shoulder at the girl but plainly disregarded her plea as she continued towards the direction of her class, her eyes blazing with purpose. The purpose: finding Katsuki Bakugou.
And finding him wasn't difficult.
By both bad luck and good luck, Katsuki and his friends were heading to class from the cafeteria, unaware of the rampaging girl treading right for them.
That was until Satori blocked them off on their way, going to stand directly in front of them, with her eyes narrowed in on their supposed "leader", Katsuki.
On seeing this, (Y/n) paled. Multiple curses flew out her mouth as she came to a slow stop behind Satori, her eyes also trained on Katsuki. A series of mixed emotions swirled in them, with the main one being dread. The rising tension in the air gripped at her throat and she pressed her lips together to quell the nauseous feeling starting to bubble in her gut.
Having have noticed her joined presence, Satori shot the girl a sly smirk over her shoulder.
"Well, Lookie here at who we just bumped into (Y/n)," she barked an arrogant laugh and gestured towards Katsuki. "Isn't this coincidence?"
Katsuki's narrowed eyes flitted from Satori to (Y/n) and she immediately looked away. Ignoring her lurching heart, she grabbed Satori's wrist and began to pull her back.
"Satori, please," she pleaded once more in a hushed tone. "No point in starting trouble. Let's go."
Satori turned to give her a mixed look of confusion and irritation. "Didn't I say that I would help you in any way I can? Here's me helping."
(Y/n)'s hold on her wrist tightened, causing Satori to slightly wince.
"You're only going to make things worse," she enunciated each word carefully, quietly, her eyes boring deep into Satori's in the hope of driving the message through. "Just let it go."
Satori made a frustrated sound and roughly yanked her arm out of (Y/n)'s grasp.
"Get a fucking grip, (Y/n)!" she snapped, making (Y/n) flinch and instinctively take a step back. "If you don't wanna be involved then be my guest and leave. Besides," Satori turned back to Katsuki and gave a lopsided grin, "life has offered me a good opportunity to finally catch up with my least favorite person in the world. Isn't that right, Kakahoe Bakushit."
An angry vein popped above Katsuki's eyebrow and he was about to give Satori a piece of his mind when Kirishima rested his elbow on his shoulder, halting him in place. The ash-blonde shot him a side glare, biting back the words he was initially meant to say. He looked back at Satori, his face set in dissatisfaction, but not without flickering his eyes past (Y/n).
"The fuck you want," he growled, his upper lip curled in annoyance.
"The fuck I-" Satori cut herself short, expression feigning hurt as she dramatically gasped and placed a hand on her chest. "Can't a girl even say hi to her former classmate these days? I'm sure you have something else to say to me after all this time other than that. No "I missed you"? "You look nice"? A reunion gift at least?"
