This Is The Hell We Can't Leave

"My name is Frank and I work for the government. They sent me here to tell you all the amazing news that they've finally perfected the cure. You should all make your way to the prison on the edge of town where they'll inject you with the cure. Your leader Elizabeth Smith is there waiting for you all. Now please hurry and be happy! You're all leaving this place today" Frank announces from the speaker and we can hear people cheering.

"That's impossible. I thought you said the government didn't have any of my dad's research" I said.

"They don't, there's no way they could've possibly made a cure when they don't even know what the disease consists of" Mathew replied.

"Then what the hell are they injecting people with?" David questioned.

"Whatever that injection is, I have a feeling it'll be the end of the governments problem" I replied.

*scream*

"Elizabeth!"

I instantly recognise my siblings screams and run through the corridor to the exit where frank and other guards stood holding my siblings and Jacob.

"Let them go Frank or I swear to god" I yell.

"You'll what Elizabeth? If you want your siblings to survive you'll bring me every piece of research your dad had on the disease or I'll kill them all" Frank said.

"Please Frank, they're just children leave them out of it" Mathew replied.

"I didn't want to do this Mathew, but Luke's bitch of a daughter wants to try save the day like her dad and for that her siblings will die" Frank screams in rage.

"Watch it asshole" David yells approaching Frank but when guns are pointed at him he backs up.

"Get your boyfriend under control Elizabeth" Frank said laughing.

"Fine I'll give it all to you just let them go!" I yell.

"Now see the problem is I don't trust you anymore Elizabeth. But I'm not a bad guy" Frank said and nods at the guards as they let Jenny, Selena and Spencer go. "Consider these two as my insurance that you give me everything" Frank adds as he walks away with Liam and Jacob.

My other siblings run to me and I quickly grab them tightly fearing that he'll soon come back.

"We need a plan like now" David says getting frustrated.

"I know let me think for a minute" I replied.

"There's no time to think! They have Jacob, my little brother, Elizabeth!" David snapped.

"I know" I said as I wrapped my arms around him. He looked down at me defeatedly and I placed my hand on his cheek in a reassuring manner. "I promise you that I'll die before I let him do anything bad to Jacob. Do you trust me?" I asked.

"Of course I trust you Elizabeth, I trust you with my everything" David replied.

"Good because here's what's going to happen. Charlotte I need you to stay here and watch the kids, I won't involve them in this anymore. Mathew I need you to go stop anyone heading to the prison, say whatever it takes to stop them. As for us David we'll be grabbing guns from the store and getting our siblings out of there" I explained.

"And the research?" Mathew questioned.

"It stays here. I'll get them back without it. It'll just get a little messy" I replied.

"Okay well let's go" David said as he began running down the stairs.

I quickly ran over and grabbed my backpack and handed it to Jenny. "This has everything that matters the most Jen. The letters from mom, the box dad gave me, but most importantly it has everything you'd need to survive outside the walls of Liberty Hills without me. Follow the map and you'll get out no bother but I need you to promise me something Jenny. If I'm not back for Saturday morning, you'll take Selena and Spencer and get the hell out of here" I said.

"I can't do this without you Elizabeth" Jenny replied breaking down.

"I'm trusting you Jenny. You're stronger than you think. Just be careful and remember I love you all" I added hugging her tightly and then quickly running down the stairs to catch up with David.

Okay so I literally have an exam tomorrow and since I'm procrastinating about that I decided to write a new chapter lmao! But I know this chapter was quite short it's pretty much just the build up for the next chapter😉
