"Percy? What's wrong?" Mom walked over to me and tilted my chin up. She frowned when she noticed the tears streaming down my face.

"They know." I whispered. I swallowed and wrapped my arms around myself. My eyes trained on the floor.

"Babe, what are you talking about?" Cam got up from the couch. He walked over to me. He must have noticed my shaking because he pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around him and pressed my face into his chest.

"Did they hurt you?" Leonard asked.

I shook my head and tightened my grip on Cam. He grunted in pain and tried to pry me off. I didn't let go.

"There's- there's something we haven't told you. My dad, I know who he is, what he is. He's a god."

"So he has a god complex, so do a lot of-"

"No, he's literally a god. He's a Greek god." I interrupted Leonard, pulling away from Cam. "I'm a demigod. I can be sacrificed or traded like a pawn in a game of chess. I kept this," I formed an ice crystal in my hand. "A secret from them for five years and now they know."

"And you've kept this from us."

I swallowed. "If I had told you earlier, you would have be in danger. Just saying a god's name is enough to get their attention. Right now, my dad is going to be looking for me and I really don't want to deal with that side of my family." I ran my hands through my hair. "I think I'm going to lie down."

I went to my room and fell face down on my bed.

My door opened and the mattress dipped. A cold hand rested on my back, where my shirt had ridden up, and I turned my head. "Hey Cam." I mumbled.

"Want me in here?"

"Yeah." I sat up. He sat down and pulled me against him. He rested a hand on the side of my face and I leaned into the cold. It's so nice to feel it on my skin instead of my skin being it.

"So, uh, half-god? Like Wonder Woman?"

"Exactly like her. She's my cousin." I turned to face him, reached up and made him look at me.

"What?"

Leaning up, I kissed him. Cam moved one hand to the back of my neck, the other staying on the side of my face.

His lips were soft, not surprising with the Carmex I could taste on them. I grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer. He broke away, a smile on his face. "Well that's different." He laughed.

I raised an eyebrow. "I'm stronger than I look."

"Not that. You kissed me and you were doing something other than barely kiss back."

"Well I'm sorry that I have no practice. Not like I'd end up killing people or anything."

"Babe, I'm happy to help you learn."

"Oh my gods, you've spent too much time around Wally."

"I don't hear you turning that down."

I grabbed my phone from my nightstand. I held it against my ear and waited for the 'hello'.

"You're a horrible influence on my boyfriend."

"Oh hey, listen I'm kinda busy how about-"

"Don't let them come after me Wally. I can't...I won't be able to deal with it. Gotta go, bye." I hung up. I put it facedown on the stand. "So...what were you saying?"

Cam lunged at me and pinned me to the bed. "You know what I said."

He leaned down and my cheeks heated up.

"You look cute when you blush." He brushed a strand of hair way from my face, staring into my eyes.

I covered my face, trying to hide my burning cheeks.

"Oh come on, let me see your pretty eyes."

"You've only seen them when they're blue."

"Doesn't matter what color they are, they're still pretty." He grabbed my wrists and moved my hands. "Babe...why did you never mention this? The whole being a demigod thing?"

"Why would I? You guys would just get hurt, more than you already have because of me."

"Because we care about you. We'd all do anything to protect you, if you weren't too stubborn to accept our help."

Cam sat back and the next thing I knew, his shirt was tossed on the floor.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

He laid beside me. "Well, I don't think I'm going to get another chance to do something like this. At least not until we're older."

"If I cuddle with you and anybody walks in and gets the wrong idea. You have to deal with getting punched."

An arm wrapped around me, pulling me securely to his chest. "I can live with that babe."

"I'm counting my dad and cousins in that list, meaning you might die."

"Again, I can live with that."

I smiled and kissed his shoulder. "You say that now, but when you have an angry, overprotective god glaring at you, you might change your mind."

"Doubt it." Cam gently rubbed my back. As he held me close, my eyes began to close. I just felt so safe. I shouldn't have, not when the gods know about how I am. Not when they know I've been lying to them and that I have two separate lives.

Cam mumbled something and my blushed returned. I kneed him in the stomach.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"You know very well what that was for."

"All I said was that you're cute!"

"I'm not cute! I'm dangerous!"

"Mhm, sure. Night babe."
