Chapter 13: Realizations

The next day, I still felt that funny feeling in my heart. I was definitely in love with Trevor. I hope he was in love with me too.

"Good mornings." I said in a way to happy for me tone as I walked into the kitchen to only see Connor.

"What the hell happened to you. Yesterday, you were pissed. Now you're happy. That doesn't happen unless you're in- no fucking way."

"Uncle Connor. Please don't tell anybody."

"You're in love with him. Aren't you."

"Yeah."

"That's so cute. But you don't know what love is."

"I do so know what it is. I mean. I love 5 Seconds of Summer. That's called in love." I then heard mumbling from the living room. Me and Connor walking in there to see Kian sitting down, watching tv. I saw he was watching 5sos on the Today show (I know this happened like a month ago, just go with it). All of a sudden, Luke came on screen. He stared at him for a second, then said something.

"You're her world kid." Oh my god. I started tearing up. So did Connor. I turned around and saw the boys standing there, tearing up as well. They must've heard too. We all ran in there and had a giant group hug. I loved Luke. Let's hope he said the same thing to Trevor when we tell him I'm in love with him. I won't tell him. Yet.

"You heard, didn't you?"

"Yeah. That was so sentimental of you. We all got emotional."

"Alright. Wheres Trevor and Rylie. I need to talk to them. Now." The others left as me and Trev sat down on the couch. Kian stood up and towered over us.

"Ok so I realized something. I realized that I'm not ready for Rylie to date yet." Here it comes. The beating of Trevor. "But I need to try it. She's ready. And Trevor. You are her world. Her everything. When I adopted her, she barely had anything. Now that you're here, she has everything she could ever wish for."

"What?"

"That was from my diary. Did you read my diary dad?"

"Maybe. But that's a different story. Trevor. I realized that I need to let her go. So, she's yours now." He hugged Trevor. He turned to me. "Rylie. I may have been a little harsh in the beginning. But I realize now that you're 14. Almost 15. So I need to except that." After dads little speech, Jc came running into the room.

"Guys. Sam's gone."
