"I love you." I stood up and walked to the door. I didn't want to leave her, but I had to go. I couldn't stay here with her forever. She might not make it that long. This was hard. To most likely say goodbye to the love of my life. The best person I've ever met. My best friend. My other half. I didn't want to leave her. I didn't want her to leave either. I speed-walked back over to her and hugged her limp, cold body tightly. I let go and saw he beautiful face, drained of color. I couldn't see her beautiful eyes. Her lips were in a line, chapped and cracked form the cold. I leaned down and kissed her cold, cracked lips. I missed the feel of them on mine. The way they tasted. I loved the way she would lean in to kiss me then pull away just to tease me. I missed her. I walked to the door and started remembering everything we did together. Everything. Down to the smallest detail. I turned and walked out, trying not to break down. I couldn't see my girl like this. It hurt too much.

*Hayes POV*

"I have to go." I ran out of her room holding back the tears. Matt chased after me and followed me to the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror, my eyes were bloodshot form crying. I started bawling again. This was all my fault. I didn't know why I took the dare. It was a mistake. I cryed harder and louder. Matt barged in and saw me crying.

"Aw Hayes."

"I'm sorry." I tried walking out but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back tightly.

"We should get out there. The other boys are getting worried."

"Ok." My voice croaked. We walked out into the waiting room and sawthe other guys all sniffling and engulfed by their phones. You could tell they've been crying.

"Hey Hayes."

"Hey."

"You ok?"

"Yeah." I said, not sure if I was.

"Come sit. You need to sleep."

"Ok."

I walked over to Nash and laid down on his lap. I fell asleep almost instantly.

*Sam's POV*

Hayes had fallen asleep. Trevor was bawling still. And I was still sitting here wondering what I could do to save her. And that's when I remembered. I couldn't do anything. I started crying again and I ran out of the hospital. I wanted to get away from this place. It holds my little sister. The one I never took trick or treating pn Halloween. The one who never got to spend Christmas with us. Nothing besides the stuff that already happened. I ran across the street into the nearest Chipotle. I sat down at a table and put my head down. I heard the yelling of little kids around me. I then heard the jingle of metal chains and the squeak of leather boot. I looked up and saw someone who I haven't seen in a very long time.
