The boy sobbed into his arms and Taehyung just stood there, not knowing what to do.
God why.. He rubbed onto the back of his neck.
He sighed before crouching down so that their eyes were at the same level.
"Hey."
He didn't respond. He continued to sob into his arms.
Taehyung stood up.
I can't believe I'm doing this. He let out a sigh. I wonder what happened to him though..
"How much?" He asked the cashier guy.
"Pardon?"
"How much for his payment?" He pointed at the boy.
"Oh.. the medicines?"
Medicines?
"Uh.. yeah. Whatever it is."
"It's 12,000 won."
He took out his black card again then looked at the boy who was still crying.
"Hey." Taehyung lightly swung the bag onto his head.
"Ouch.." He mumbled while still sniffing.
"Look up, would you?"
He shook his head.
Taehyung sighed. He swung it harder.
"Ow- Hey!" He looked up to see Taehyung holding onto a bag.
"W-what?"
"Your medications.. or whatever."
"B-but I didn't-"
"I paid for you so can you please shut up."
His eyes widened and he got up to hold the older's hand.
"Y-yah what are you-"
"Thank you." He breaks into a smile. "Thanks so much."
Taehyung nodded.
He walked out of the store feeling good with himself. For the first time in many years, he finally helped a person.
Maybe helping people wasn't so bad after all.
He shook his head. What am I saying.. In the end, they lie.
He drove himself back to his office.
"Taehyung!"
"It's Mr. Kim."
"Lol I never called you that."
"What do you want, Jimin?" Taehyung glared at him.
"Tae, are you sure you don't wanna hire this dude? You need someone to help do your chores too, you know."
"No Jimin, I don't."
Jimin handed him a file.
"Look."
"No."
"Just look." He opened the file at Taehyung's face, him letting out an exaggerated sigh.
"You see. He's a friend of my friend's step-brother's cousin's father's uncle's grandson."
"What."
"My friend's step-family."
"Uh.. okay."
Name: Jeon Jeongguk.
Dropped out of school since high school.
Parents died when he was at age 16.
Family: A sick grandfather.
Current age: 19.

"Sick grandfather?" He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Yeah.." Jimin pouted. "His grandfather had dementia when he was still 50. I heard he even started forgetting about Jungkook."
"Well, do you have any pictures of Jeon?"
"Yeah." He opened the next page. "That's him."
Taehyung's eyes widened.
Jeon Jungkook? The guy I saw earlier from the store?
"Wow- Why are you looking at him like that? Attractive now, isn't he?" Jimin dropped on his knees. "So can you please, please please give him this job?"
"Jimin- What are you-"
"His so called family doesn't care about him anymore. He's all alone now with his sick grandpa."
"How old is his grandpa now?" Taehyung helped his friend get off the ground.
"60-ish I guess?"
"What's your relation with this guy anyway."
"I helped him get a job once, Jungkook's a really good guy. It's hard for him get a job now because he had to take care of his sick grandfather, and he had no diploma.." Jimin held his hand. "He lost his parents when he was still 16. He doesn't deserve any of this."
"Yah- Stop that.." He retracted his hand.
"I mean, he needed a job, you needed a housekeeper, what's more to think about? Help him."
Taehyung stared at the photo, examining the younger's face.
He sure looks different from what I saw earlier this morning. He chuckled.
"Yeah. You're right."
