"Ughhhh...." Alicia groaned, "Why do we have to do a group project?"
"Well, we kinda grouped up together." Chase answered.
"Can we stop chit-chatting and get to work!" Eliana exclaimed peering from her computer.
"C'mon guys! Do something! You have been staring at your computers, not contributing at all!" chided Ethan.
Alicia and Chase sighed, and got back to work. The day after they had come back from Disneyland they were bombarded with tests, and was given the final blow, a group online slide project on the effects of the Great Depression.
"I don't understand!" Alicia cried as she stopped for the tenth time, "America had a hard time after the Great Depression, why do we have to put more than that!"
"Because...that is what Mr. Keuilian wants." Chase responded tiredly.
"At this rate, we are all going to have a great depression." Alicia groaned.
"Hey, there isn't that much time before Valentine's Day!" realized Ethan, trying to cheer the group up.
"Yup... And all the drama." groaned Chase.
"Drama?" inquired Alicia.
"This started in fifth grade when everyone found out there was a dance..." started Ethan.
"Everyone started asking each other out, regardless of whether they like each other or not, just because it was 'cool'. " finished Chase with air quotes.
"What do you mean, drama?" laughed Eliana, "Literally only one person asked out a girl, and she said no. That is not drama."
"But..." Ethan started.
"You are just salty that I rejected you two years ago. Aren't you?" Eliana interrupted playfully as she gently nudged him.
"Ummm..." muttered Ethan as he blushed.
"She got you there." chuckled Chase.
"Lets not get you started!" Eliana spun around and faced Chase.
"Wait, why!!!" chirped Alicia.
"So..." Eliana began.
"NO PLEASE!" groveled Chase as he started rubbing his hands together, "DON'T TELL HER!"
"There actually was a bit of drama at the school." continued Eliana, "Our friend, Chase, here got mixed into it."
"LALALA, LALALA, LA- ACK!" Chase began to sing, as Ethan cut off his air.
"Thank you for quieting down, Chase. To continue, Chase at that time liked this girl, and she actually sort of liked him back."
"Ooooo!!!" whistled Alicia, as she looked at Chase.
"But Chase here never dated anyone in his entire life." Eliana picked up once more, "So..."
"So what?" inquired Alicia.
"NOOOOO!!!" gasped Chase as he broke out of Ethan's grasp, only to topple over on the floor.
"The day of the dance, he-"
Eliana never got to finish as Chase clamped his hand on her mouth.
"OWWW!" cried Chase as Alicia and Eliana simultaneously slapped him.
"Ewwww..." groaned Eliana, "You put your dirty hands on my mouth!"
"They are not dirty!" exclaimed Chase, looking at his hands.
To his dismay, beats of sweat dropped down from them, due to all the work he has done, and the obvious anxiety he felt.
"Well..."
