Chapter 16: Locked Out of Heaven

We travelled across all of Europe and China, getting absolutely no sight seeing done. Our next stop was Japan, but we were leaving in the morning so the whole crew decided to just hang around in one of the huge stadium rooms. Evan, our tour manager was sweet enough to set up platters of food on a table off to the side of the room. We all sat on couches positioned in a semi-circle.

I got up from beside Justin, walked over to the table and grabbed a plate, looking around at the platters. Matt walked up beside me, plate in hand.

"Hey!" He said.

"Hey whatsup." I asked.

"Nothing much. I see you and Justin are better than good now." He smirked.

"Yeah we're fine." I tried brushing him off again because he'd been acting weird around me these days.

"Well..If you ever need anything, I'm here." He put his hand on my shoulder, moving it down to hand, and then letting go. I saw Alexa, one of the dancers, giving me the dirtiest look in the back. I turned back to Matt.

"Thanks, but I think I'll be fine." I walked off to sit right beside Justin. He put his arm around me and I put my legs up on the couch, crossing them.

"Weren't hungry?" Justin asked, nodding towards my empty plate. I'd completely forgotten to actually take any food.

"I..forgot." I bit my lip and Justin laughed.

"I'll go get us some." He walked over towards the table and came back, the plate piled with food.

Everyone had their own little conversations going until Mike, one of the dancers suggested we play truth or dare. Everyone agreed and sat in a circle on the ground. Mike was the first to grab a bottle and spin it. It landed on Ashton.

"Truth or dare?"

"Dare." He said.

"I dare you to..eat a kiwi. FYI he's allergic to kiwis." Mike explained.

"What happens?" Jamie asked.

"My lips swell up for an hour." Ashton replied. "But I'll do it." He gave Mikey a dirty look and went over to get a piece of kiwi. He spun the bottle. It landed on Alexa.

"Truth or dare?"

"Truth." She said and he sighed.

"Fine. Are you a virgin?" He asked

I rolled my eyes and a few people groaned at the question. Almost everyone knew that Matt and Alexa had something going on between them.

"No." She replied, narrowed her eyes at him and took a quick look at Matt. She spun the bottle. It landed on me. Fuck.

"Truth or dare." She smiled almost evilly.

"Dare." I said, not wanting to answer any questions about Justin and I.

"I dare you..to kiss someone in this room, other than Justin." She grinned. Justin raised his eyebrows, amused to see what I was going to do. It was a trap for sure. She wanted to see if I would kiss her precious Matt..No way in hell. I got up as Justin took his arm off from around me, expectant to see who exactly I was going to choose. I walked over and sat right between Jamie and Matt. Just as Justin began to protest, his temper shortening, I leaned over, kissed Jamie on the cheek and sat back down as Alexa objected.

"Thats not fair!" She complained. "I sa-"

"Too late. You didn't specify." I dragged out the word and sarcastically smiled for a second before looking away. Justin put his arm around me again, rubbing my side. We all took our turns spinning, and just when Matt spun almost landing on me, a familiar face walked in the door. It was Scooter!
