l15l The New Coach

Takeda-Sensei POV

I'm standing in front of Ukai Keishin store. I really want him to coach the volleyball team but he keeps on rejecting me.

"Hey! What Are You Doing Here?!?" Ukai yells as he notices me standing outside of the store.

"I'm sorry I was just seeing if you had any customers," I tell him quickly.

"Are you here to ask me to coach again?" Ukai said with a sigh.

"Yes," I tell him with no hesitation.

"It's not that I still don't love to play, I even put together a neighbourhood team. I can't coach because I'll wide myself crazy wanting to play," Ukai confesses.

"Oh."

"And besides, I can't go anywhere near that gym."

"Did something tragic happen there?" I asked him.

"Not at the less, all my best memories are there," he tells me.

"Then why can't you?"

"I don't care if it's different or exactly the way I left it, I can't go in that gym or the club room ever again. The short time I spend there was so unique. If I went back, it will be like opening a time gap," he said with a soft voice.

"So it's like a nostalgia thing, I get it," I tell him smiling.

"Shut up! And anyway it's still a no," and he rejects me one more time. If I tell him that we're playing against Nekoma, will he coach them? There's only one to know

"Even if Nekoma high is on the schedule?"

"Huh?!?" he exclaimed. I got him now...I hope.

"At the last day of the golden week, It's our first time facing them after 5 years," I explain.

"You have got to be kidding me?"

"Coach Nekomata, the men your grandfather was such great friends with, just come out of retirement. Once I heard that I asked them for a practice game. Back when you were still in high school, that was when Kurosuno had a strong tie with them right?" I ask.

"Yeah," he says in confusion.

"And by the way, their current coach is the same guy that played the setter position 7 or 8 years ago," I tell him.

Ukai gave him a shocked look. Does that mean that he will coach them? I thought to myself.

Ukai grabs me by my shirt and yell, "Are you trying to mess with me!!"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!" I apologize.

"This is BULLSHIT! You just come here to push my buttons! You really think that will work?! What time is practice today?!?" Ukai asks as he was shaking me.

"I said I'm sor--wha?" he let's go of me, "So you mean that..."

"I'm not letting those pathetic underclassmen embarrass our school in font of Nekoma. Stay right here! I'm getting change," Ukai tells me.

"Okay great!" This is really great! I did it! I told myself.

Ukai was making a phone call to someone but who?

"Hey, Tatsu, It's me," he said.

Everyone was doing something. You were with Kiyoko and both of you were talking about a way how the team can improve. Hinata and Kageyama were working on their quick attack. Yamaguchi and Tsukishima were talking to each other. Sugawara and Daichi were also talking. Nishinoya was doing his stretches and Tanaka was talking to him. Mitsuo was actually helping Kageyama and Hinata on their quick attack.
