"Fine. Let's eat," he huffed.

I couldn't have been more surprised.

He's showing his caring side again. My heart throbbed.

Shoot. Everytime he becomes caring, it drives me wild. Ugh. What am I saying. He's only like this because he thinks the baby I'm carrying is his. If he finds out this wasn't his, who knows what he'll do.

We went to the foodcourt and sat by a lemonade stand. I ordered Shawarma from one of the stands in the foodcourt, while Tom ordered fries.

He came back to our table bringing two glasses of lemonade.

I took a bite at my food and swallowed while trailing at Tom who was placing the lemonades on the table.

I gaped at the act before thanking him for his treat. I gazed at him as he gobbled on some fries. He was staring towards a wall, well, more like staring into space as he munched.

Seeing him like this brought a smile to my face. I haven't noticed my cheeks were blushing. It was until I felt the heat reached to my earlobes.

He wasn't actually bad. Not bad at all. At first, I was just examining him, then it led to observing him with fascination, until I never realized I was already enjoying the view.

I remembered his eyes. How I wanted to take a look at those eyes again. If only he would take off his shades.

His gaze shifted to me. I quickly glanced away. My heart was still throbbing in harmonious pace.

On cue, when he looked back into space, I looked at him again. My eyes dropped on his lips parting as he put a fry inside his mouth and chewed.

It was weird to be looking at it but I couldn't help it. His lips looked so irresistible at the moment.

I chewed, the same way princesses are trained to chew their food.

Snap out of it!!! You look like a 30 year old aunt!! Stop staring at him!!!

One part of my mind was saying.

The other part was wishing that he should have been my baby's real daddy. And that I should lean over this table, grab the back of his head, and pull in closer for a kiss.

I punched that last part away. My brain laughed for even thinking of doing such.

"What's so funny?" He eyed at me. I never knew my brain wasn't the only one laughing. My mouth let out a chuckle too.

I simply shook my head. I pulled out a hesitant smile, looked away, and took a sip of the lemonade.

He took a sip as well, as what I could see on my peripheral vision.

Would you just stop minding him? Even your peripheral vision's stuck on him.

There was an awkward silence. The awkward was more on my side of the table. Tom's side was more on not giving a shit...takke mushroom.

He was a man of few words, indeed. I wonder if he had any friends. Or if he had any girlfriends before. Or if he did, are they still alive?

Here I go again, thinking of such things. Of course he does. I mean he's mean, a bully, but he's handsome.  Almost as handsome as.. Cameron, just to say frankly.

Plus, his murder stories were just rumours around school. Supposedly, he should be on his senior year now together with Cameron. However, he had to repeat one year when he got suspended due to paralyzing a gym teacher on his first day in highschool.
