[GAB]

"Yey I won!" Wes squealed as he jumped up and down in full ecstasy. He was grasping an Ironman plushie doll as he jumped. He hugged it like a little child once he stopped.

Wes had won the doll from one of the game booths somewhere inside the School Festival ground. It was a game of darts where you have to gain certain points to get a specific prize. Wes was lucky enough to get all three bullseye so he got the plushie doll of his dreams.

The school foundation day has finally commenced. A perfect way to end this semester before we start enjoying spring break.

There were a lot of booths in the area-- all of different sorts. There were booths for games, karaoke booth, kissing booth, and a marriage booth. There was even a dating booth. There was a DDR booth, booth for foods and goodies, and more to mention.

Cameron and his band were having a mini concert on the center stage and even if you're further away from the stage, you can still hear the sharp squeals from the fangirls.

The school festival was open to all, even students from other schools. Liz and Gustin were nowhere to be seen. They were having a date of their own somewhere, therefore leaving me with Wes.

Tom was banned to show up in the school festival because of his suspension. I was bummed. I still am. I've got a whole lot of stuff planned ahead but unfortunately, none of those can happen. This would have been another perfect date. I blame Maggie for this.

Speaking of Margie, she was part of the entrance committee, collecting tickets for the outsiders who are lining up to get inside the School ground. Her and her plastic smile. I was aware I was frowning and I don't have any plans of turning it upside down.

"Hey Gabby, let's try the DDR!" Wes shouted as he grabbed my wrist and drag me towards the said booth. I joined him in playing the DDR where he chose an anime song to dance to.

We ended up bathing in our sweats right after but it was worth it.

Jennifer and Paula was inside the kissing booth. I know Jen was one of the organizer for that booth, although I'm not so sure about Paula. Both of them were standing by their tent's entrance with their resting bitch faces.

I noted Jennifer shifted her gaze my way. Luckily, I was quick enough to look away. My heart was panting.

Jennifer hasn't done anything bad to me so far. Margie went back to being just a superior to me when we're in the Student Council office. Outside the office, she continues to ignore me... Which was good... Right?

"I'm getting tired now. And hungry," Wes said while wiping the sweats off his forehead.

"Let's go buy some cupcakes then," I suggested and he nodded with a smile.  We also bought popcorn and hotdogs along the way.

Our last stop was supposed to be the stage however Cameron and his band had taken a break already. So, we decided to loiter by the marriage booth. There were a lot of audiences other than us. And a pair of freshmen couple were getting 'married'.

Wes clapped his hand happily with teary eyes. "I just love weddings," he whispered to me. I rolled my eyes with amusement and chuckled. I decided to clap as well as the pretend priest said the phrase 'you may now kiss the bride.'

At first I thought they were going to kiss, but they were pulling each other back. I can sense the shyness in their faces. I don't blame them. They were Freshmen and they were ordered to kiss with a lot of strangers watching.

To our left, some were howling and cheering loudly. I reckon they were their friends and was the reason those poor couple had gotten in on this situation.

The couple ended up pecking each other's lips and the cheering grew louder.

Wes stood and told me he was ready to check out the next booth. I willingly stood as well and we started to step away.

On cue, the emcee from the marriage booth began to speak through the microphone.

"Next couple to get married... Ohh, Gabby from the sophomores!!!"

My feet froze. Wes looked back in shock and I did the same.

"Say what?" He gasped. My eyes widened as I grasped for my friends hand and squeezed it. I gawked at him worryingly but he only replied with another worried face.

"Her pair-up? Oh this is interesting.. and awkward" the emcee went on with a wry grin.

"Cameron from the Seniors!"

My jaw and eyes dropped open.

"You've got to be kidding me," I heard Wes muffled. The other organizers of the booth ran towards me and started pushing me closer to the pretend altar.

I shook my head as I struggled to get away but there were three of them stopping me. Wes motioned for my rescue but he was being shoved off by the other remaining organizers.

"You'll get your turn," one of them said to him.

When I saw Jennifer strutting nearer to the booth, my heart began to pound again. She didn't look happy. Her brows were curled into a frown and she was biting her lips as if suppressing her outbursts.

"You guys look for Cameron," the guy holding my left arm yelled.

"No need. We found him!" Another one, not part of the organizer, yelled back. Cameron was with him.

"Baby?!!!!" Jennifer shrieked. "You bitch!!!" She turned to me with fiery eyes. I gulped and avoided my eyes from her.

Cameron and I had successfully been shoved to the altar. I couldn't easily run away because they handcuffed our hands together. (My left to his right)

Terror and worry were painted all around Wes' face. He remained seated on the chairs but he looked super upset. Jennifer sat on one of the chairs as well, looking super angry.

Finally, Liz and Gustin appeared. Gustin basically had no idea what the big deal was but Liz was worried too. They sat beside Wes. I gave them the look of distress but they only gave me the same look.

"This is a mistake," I told the pretend priest.

"Yeah. I have a g-girlfriend," Cameron backed me up. His voice didn't sound upset though.

"And I have a boyfriend!" I yelled.

The pretend priest rolled his eyes as he shook his head. He leaned forward and whispered to both of us.

"Chill guys. This isn't a real marriage,"

"Are you fudging kidding me?!" I whispered back. "Did you forget Cam's girlfriend is the evil Queen?!"

The pretend priest gulped and I noticed his eyes looked behind my shoulder. I turned my head around and knew exactly he was gawking nervously at Jennifer with her face bright red in anger.

"And did you not think what Dirty Tom would do if he finds out?!" I continued.

The pretend priest swallowed down his throat and I noticed his hands were trembling.

"Well what do you want me to do?! I'm just a freaking priest. Blame the one who put your freaking names on the list."

I froze. I bit my lower lip causing no words to come out from my mouth. Cameron was quiet as well. He wasn't protesting about this, I noted.

The only thing he said was, "Let's just get this over with."
