[GABBY]

I woke up, finding myself bathing in my own sweat. I have no idea where I was, but wherever I am, it's really hot. No sign of breeze anywhere.

I noticed that there was an air-condition in the corner, but it looked broken, I noted.

It was dark as well. The small light bulb on the low ceiling didn't help much to brighten the surrounding. Plus, the said lightbulb was illuminating a dim reddish light which made it way worse.

The room wasn't that big. There was one bed, where I am lying at right now. A table in front of the bed, a small-spaced bathroom, and for some odd reason, there were mirrors on the walls as well. One above the table, one on the left corner, and one on the right.

How did I get here? Oh right. Making sense of the situation, there could only be one explanation-- I was kidnapped.

I glanced behind my shoulder and saw an abstract painting pinned on the wall above the bed's headboard. I stared at it with pure curiosity, losing my self consciousness for a brief second.

Snapping back to reality, I decided to get off the bed and reached for the door. I was panting heavy breathes as I made my way. I reached for the doorknob, however it seemed to be locked from the outside. I tried yanking it open, simultaneously rotating the doorknob. But to no success.

It was getting harder for me to breathe. My panting got heavier, got louder. I was kneading my chest just to bring my breathing back to normal.

I knocked on the door while yelling: "Hello? Anyone there?!"

I continued knocking until my balled fists started to hurt. My stomach began to hurt again, and this time I'm pretty sure the lack of oxygen is one of the reasons why. Then there's anxiety, and fear.

Tears were on the way, and any second now I know I wouldn't be able to hold it in. I rubbed my tummy while saying positive words to it. Words like ' it's going to be okay. We're going to be okay.'

But who am I kidding? I don't know where I am, I'm wheezing for air, and I'm covered in sweat.

And, as expected, tears flowed down like a river.

Tom. I whispered in a mumble as slid down to the floor, my shoulders leaning on the doorcase, one of my hand still grasping the doorknob.

*****

[TOM]

Out of rage, I kicked the living room table towards the television, causing the TV to fall to the floor and, obviously broke.

"Fuck!!!" I growled, picking up breakable stuff and throwing it. "Fuck fuck fuck!!!!" I roared again, this time kicking and punching a wall. My hands were bleeding, but I don't give a fuck about it right now.

A few hours ago, I went to a bar to have an important conversation with Pace. We talked about being a duo again and take down Brandon, that son of a motherfucking bitch!

When I returned home, the door was left open, the TV was still on, and there was no sign of Gabby. Plus, the sight of her phone here without her immediately gives it away. That stupid girl never leaves without her phone. You must be an idiot to not comprehend what happened.

Fuck!

We knew Brandon would strike but we never knew he'd strike sooner than expected!

That's it. I'm going to kill that dick-sucking cunt!

With mixed rage and fury, I called Liz and Wes through Gabby's phone.

["What?! Are you serious?!"] Wes screamed.
