Tom didn't come back home since last night. And I failed to get enough sleep because I was worried about him.

When he pushed me last night, it frightened me. I thought something was going to happen to the baby when I felt my stomach began to ache again.  Luckily, it just ached and nothing more.

Spring break has finally begun which means we have a whole week of relaxation from all the school works. I was super excited for this because I thought Tom and I would be able to spend time together now that he's been suspended. The Spring break doesn't include the count for his suspension.

But after what happened last night, I doubt I'd be given a chance to hang out with him. If he returns home sober, there might be a chance.

As I was waiting for him in the living room couch, Liz called me on the phone. I hastily picked it up.

"Hey there," she greeted. I greeted back.

"Sup," I heard Wes. I realized this was a conference call.

"Have you checked Brentwood's webpage?" Wes added.

My eyebrows raised. "No. Why?"

"Check it out," he answered.

"Hang on"

Without dropping the call, I opened the webpage through my phone.  I scrolled down and my finger stopped upon seeing my face.

It was me on the front page. And I was kissing Cameron.

No.

Wait.

Correction.

Cameron kissed me.

It was us from the marriage booth. The angle was so perfect it seemed like I was kissing him back. I glimpsed at the byline where it only said: Anonymous. The headline? Whore of the Century.

"Did you see it?" Wes asked again.

"Oh my glob," Liz uttered.

"I'm looking at it," I mumbled unconsciously. My eyes were fixed on the screen.

Then it hit me. Tom hasn't seen this yet, has he? Even if he did, I'll just go explain this to him. He'll understand. The same as how I understood his situation with Margie.

"Gabby? Are you still there?" I heard Liz voice over the phone.

"Y-yeah," I nodded even though they couldn't see it.

"Margie definitely did this," Wes commented. "I saw her with her phone last night at the marriage booth. I saw her take a picture,"

"You saw it and you didn't even do anything??" Liz scowled.

"Well I'm so sorry. How was I supposed to know she'd upload this publicly," Wes defended.

"You were the one who keeps on saying not to trust her Wes," Liz stated.

"I'm an idiot I know!"

I remained silent, listening to them bantering each other like they always do.

When they were finished, Liz shifted her attention to me.

"You wanna hang out?" She asked me.

I was about to answer when the door opened on cue and Tom entered. His snowy hair was all messed up.

"I'll talk to you guys later," I told them in a whisper. "Tom's home," I added before ending the call.

I ran towards him and gave him a tight hug. He didn't hug me back though. His face was gloomy, I observed. And he still wasn't looking at me.
