Chapter 7

I spent the night tossing and turning, only managing to get a few hours of sleep. I woke up alone in the room, like what I expected. It's already six am according to the wall clock just infront of the bed.

Kahit pupungas-pungas ay pinilit kong bumangon. I threw on a white croptop, a black shorts, a black sneakers and I put my hair in a messy bun. I descended downstairs and made a left at the end of the hall. Bumungad sa akin ang transparent wall ng private gym ni Zach. 

Going to the door, I opened it and looked around. He had every piece of equipment known to man. May treadmill naman kaya't iyon na lang ang napagdiskitahan ko. Nag-stretch muna ako bago sinimulan ang pag-eexercise. I haven't done this for a week already. I am conscious with my body figure but I am more concerned with my health.

Pagkatapos ng halos isang oras ng pag-eexercise ay umakyat muli ako sa itaas upang maligo. I did my morning routine. I blowdried my hair and put it in a ponytail. Isang itim na haltertop bodycon ang napili kong suotin. Inaayos ko ang medyo magulong kama nang tumunog at bumukas ang pintuan. For a while I thought it was manang but when I looked up I was instead greeted with my husband who was dressed in his business suit. I smiled and walked over to him.

"Morning," I greeted like we didn't just had a fight last night.

Tumingkayad ako at pinatakan ng mababaw na halik ang kanyang mga labi. Ngumuso ako nang makitang tabingi ang kanyang tie. While I was fixing it, he wrapped his hand on the small of my waist and pulled me closer to him roughly. I gasped and placed both my hands on his chest as a reflex. He leaned closer to me. Napalunok ako at gulat na tumitig sa kanya. Feeling his minty breath made the goosebumps rise on my skin. 

"I want you to resign." mariing aniya.

My eyebrows shot up at that. I greeted him with a loving smile and a sweet kiss tapos iyan ang ganting bati niya sa akin.

"Why?" Naguguluhan kong tanong.

I felt him mess with my bun and after a few seconds my hair fell back down my shoulders and back. Hindi matanggal ang kunot ng noo ko habang siya'y mariin ang lapat ng mga labi. Tinitigan ko siya ng mabuti. Is he serious? Gusto niya akong mag-resign? Bakit?

"Because I don't want to have any connections with you anymore after the filing of our annulment." 

Bahagyang nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang makuha ang ibig niyang sabihin. I opened my mouth for words but before I was even able respond, he placed his lips on mine and tried to suck the air in my lungs. After a few seconds he pulled and stared in my eyes as if he was deep in thought. Tinulak ko ang kanyang dibdib upang makawala. 

"You're serious about it?" I asked, neverminding how his kisses made me feel.

He cocked his head to one side and looked at me like I just said something dumb. Bumuntong-hininga ako at umatras pa ng isang beses palayo sa kanya.

"Zach, ayoko..." Mahina kong sinabi sa tonong nagmamakaawa.

He stared at me for a few moments before nodding his head. Umusbong ang pag-asa sa akin dahil sa simpleng pagtango niyang iyon, but I had to gulp as he flashed his infamous devilish and cocky smirk. I bit down on my botton lip miserably.

"Ayaw mo?" He probed. 

He took few strides towards me and placed his arms around my waist once again. Unti-unti niyang inilapit ang mukha sa akin at handa na akong pumikit kung hindi lamang siya tumigil nang kahibla na lamang ang lapit ng aming mga labi.
