I made my way back to the room that Ash was in. I walked in to find his grandma and Sky there. His grandma, Lauren, a short woman with green eyes and short grey hair who was roughly 70 years old, sat in the chair by his bed, while Sky was on the couch on the other side of the bed. They looked up at me as I walked in.

"Hello dear. Good to see you again." Lauren said with a smile on her face.

"You too." I said, with a fake smile back. I was still not over mine and Cat's conversation.

"It's about time you got here!" Skylar said, standing up.

"Yah, sorry about that. I had something to take care of." I looked over at Ash, who had a confused expression on his face. I gave him the 'I'll tell you later' look then turned back to Sky.

"Have Karen and Robert came back yet?" I asked Sky.

"Yah. You just missed them. They had to get home. The babysitter had to leave early. And we are about to head out too, ready Gram?" Sky put her hand out to Lauren. Lauren stood up and gave me a tight hug.

"Don't worry so much sweetie. He will be ok." Was my worry that noticeable?

"I won't. Have a good night." I smiled at her and then turned to Sky and gave her a hug.

"You two better get some sleep. Don't be up all night making babies." She said with a smirk.

"SKY!" I said back blushing. She chuckled then turned to Ash.

"And you make sure you don't keep Jennifer from her sleep. She actually has to go to school tomorrow."

Ashton stuck his tongue out at her and mumbled "Yes mom."

Lauren and Sky left, shutting the door behind them. I turned and sat next to Ash on the edge of the bed.

"Are you feeling better?" I asked him, eyeing the wounded leg. He shrugged.

"It hasn't hurt that bad. They drugged me up pretty good." I laughed a little at that. He grabbed my hand and pulled it towards him. I moved closer and he scooted over so I could lie down next to him. He wrapped his arm around me as I laid my head on his chest.

"So what took you so long to get here?" He asked, playing with my hair. I sighed and sat up a little. I looked down and took his free hand, playing with his fingers.

"Cat and I had a fight." I replied. I looked up at him to read his expression. I could see confusion in there.

"Why? What happened?" He asked, looking at me.

"She is just jealous because apparently I'm spending too much time with you."

"Oh." He said looking down at our hands. He sounded upset. I lifted his chin up and leaned forward a little.

"Don't let what is wrong with her, get in the way of us. I know I've been spending a lot of time with you, but Cat has been busy too. Plus, I don't know what is up with her lately. I just have a bad feeling about her right now. She's not being herself. I hope tha-" My words were cut off by Ash's lips.

When I was with Ash I felt like there were no worries. I wrapped my arms around his neck and swung my leg over his waist so that I was on top of him. I was so caught up in the moment that I didn't notice I had kicked his leg until he let out an 'ow'.

I pulled away from him and looked at his leg. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" I said panicking. "Is there anything I can get you? A nurse? A doctor?"

I looked over at him and he was just smirking. "No. I'm fine. It's all good now." I laid down beside him again then looked up at him.

"What?" He said, looking down at me.

I shook my head and smiled. "Nothing." He rolled his eyes and leaned down to kiss my lips softly.

I got ready for bed and then checked my phone. No messages from Cat. Figures. I shrugged then went to make the couch into a bed.

"Are you sure you don't want to sleep here? I can make room." Ash said, with a hopeful look in his eyes.

I smiled over at him. "Yah. I'm good. I don't want to take a chance. I've already hurt your leg once. And plus I roll around a lot at night." He did a puppy dog face.

"Okay, those don't work on me." I told him. He looked so cute when he did that face. It just hurt me to say no.

"Fine then," he said, starting to get up, "I'll come to you."

I ran over to him and pushed him carefully back on the bed. "No. You, stay!"

I was about to walk away when I felt him grab my hand. I sighed and looked down, then turned to face him. "Please?" He said in a voice that I couldn't resist.

Crap. I thought I had the willpower, but I couldn't say no now. I sighed and grabbed an extra pillow and blanket then walked to his good side.

Turning off the lights on my way, I laid down beside him. He wrapped his arms around me. I felt him chuckle.

"Shut up. I'm trying to sleep." I said.

"Sorry. Looks like you don't have any willpower." I slapped his chest.

"Ow!" he said. That hurt? Good. I laughed lightly and then closed my eyes, dozing off to sleep in his arms.
