I'll Take Care Of You

Chapter 21

            After breakfast I went to take a shower. I started singing in the shower when all of a sudden I heard a chuckle. I stopped and peaked out behind the curtain to see Ash standing there brushing his teeth. He finished up and then turned to wink at me.

            "You couldn't have waited until I was out of the bathroom?" I asked him as he brushed his hair.

            "Nope." He smirked. I rolled my eyes. At least he wasn't trying to pull the curtain back.

            I was about to go back to the shower after he left, when I thought of something. Knowing Ash he would come in again, so I quickly went to lock the door. As soon as I was about to, the door opened. I stood there blushing and grabbed the closest towel hanging, and covered myself up. My eyes never left Ash's. I have no doubt in my mind he saw...things. We were even now, but still. He smirked and then backed out into the room, closing the door behind him. I locked it quickly and turned towards the shower; the blush still on my cheeks. That was so embarrassing. I hopped back in to continue my shower.

            I got out and looked for the towel. But it was gone. Ugh! Ash! He took the towel and there were no other ones in here. How did he manage to get the door open? I growled then opened the door a little, hiding the rest of my body behind it.

            "Ash! Bring me my towel back!" I yelled at him. He was sitting there with a big smile on his face, relaxing on the bed with the towel behind his neck. I glared at him and he raised an eyebrow.

            "Why don't you come get it yourself?" He added with a smirk. I shook my head.

            "No! Either bring me the towel or bring me my clothes." He picked my clothes up off the bed and threw them towards me. They were scattered all over the floor. I glared at him again.       "Pick. Them. Up." I ordered him in a serious voice. He chuckled then got off the bed and handed me my clothes. I took them and closed the door; making sure to lock it.

            "Jerk." I mumbled.

            I walked back out of the bathroom after I was done getting dressed and brushing my hair. I glared at Ash as I walked over to the dresser to spray on my favorite body spray; Twilight Woods. I was putting on some earrings when I felt his arms around my waist. His chin was resting on my shoulder. I forgot why I was mad at him for a second and then I remembered.

            "What do you want jerk?" I asked as I put on a bracelet.

            "Come on babe. You can't be mad at me." He said.

            "Yes I can." I answered back, turning around to face him. His hands went to my hips and he pulled me closer. I put my hands on his chest, trying to push myself away.  He was way too strong.

            He sighed. "Okay. I'm sorry I took your towel, and tried to see your sexy body." I couldn't help but blush at that. I sighed then looked down. I looked back up at him and smirked.       "I forgive you, but you know this means revenge." He smirked back at me and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

            "Bring it baby." He said back, leaning down to kiss me softly on the lips. I kissed back and then he pulled away.

            "Come on. Let's go watch a movie in the living room." I nodded and when he pulled away and turned towards the door, I jumped right on his back. He chuckled and then held onto me; giving me a piggy back ride to the living room. When we got there, he dropped me on the couch and then went to the kitchen to get a snack.

            "You want some popcorn?" He asked, looking through the pantry.

            "Yes please!" I called back to him. I went to look for a movie and picked one out. I put in Step Brothers and sat back on the couch. Ash came back in with a bowl of popcorn and two Dr. Peppers.

            "What we watching?" He asked, handing me my soda and then sitting down with the popcorn.

            "Step Brothers." I answered back with a smile. I took a sip of my soda then set it down on the table. I curled up next to him and he put his arm around me. I took a handful of popcorn as the movie started.

            "Exactly how many times have you seen this?" He asked me. I kept saying lines from the movie.

            I smiled sheepishly. "Too many." He rolled his eyes and took a sip of his soda. I couldn't help it. I love this movie, and Will Farrell is my favorite actor.

            When the movie was over I glanced over at Ash. He was fast asleep. His head was leaning against the back of the couch. I rolled my eyes and slowly turned to him, trying not to wake him up. I pressed my lips to his neck and kissed him up to below his earlobe.

            "Jennifer." He groaned opening his eyes a little. I smirked against his skin and chuckled a little.

            "Hmmm?" I asked, kissing to his collarbone. He pulled me into his lap and wrapped his arms around me. I looked at him and wrapped my arms around his neck.

            "Thanks for waking me up." He mumbled.

            "You're welcome! You did it to me earlier so I had to do it back." I smiled.  He chuckled and leaned down to kiss me on the lips. I kissed him back and moved so I was straddling him. He deepened the kiss. My head was spinning. He pulled away and kissed down my neck. I put my head back and ran my hands through his hair. He nibbled at my neck a little then moved back to my lips. I kissed him back then bit his lip and pulled away.

            "Hey, I wasn't done yet." He said, pulling my head back towards him. I giggled and then he smashed his lips against mine.

            A few minutes passed by and then I heard a throat being cleared. I looked up to see who made that sound.

            "I thought I told y'all to get a room!" Skylar said. I stuck my tongue out at her.

  This was like the fourth time she has caught us.

            "Stop walking in at the wrong time then." Ashton said. She rolled her eyes and then walked out the front door to go to work. I got off Ash and stood up. I took the popcorn bowl and empty cans into the kitchen.

            "Hey babe?" I called, walking back into the living room.

            "Yah?" He asked as I sat back down next to him.

            "Let's go do something today. Like go to the park or the mall or something." He nodded and smiled.

            "Okay." He said, kissing me on the cheek; standing up, pulling me with him. He grabbed his keys then we made our way to the car.
