He uncovered my mouth as he led me quietly and quickly into a room down the hall. He turned around and stared at me. I looked into wide hazel eyes.  I was about to say something when he covered my mouth again. We heard footsteps outside the door, walking down the hall towards the living room. Ash took me by the hand and led me into the closet. I stood there frozen as he shut the door behind us.

I finally found my voice. "Ash?" I whispered. "What's going on?"

He turned towards me and I saw the fear in his eyes. "Catherine." That one name is all it took. Anger flooded me, rushing through my veins. I glared at the doorknob, finding a way to escape. She had to be ended once and for all. Breaking into my boyfriend's house is not something I would do if I were her. She should leave now while she has the chance.

I was about to make my move and escape, when the bedroom door creaked open. Cat's footsteps pounded loudly on the wooden floor. I moved closer into Ash's chest as he stepped further away from the door. I closed my eyes, praying to God that she would leave, and that we would be safe. My prayers were answered as I heard footsteps walk away, and the sound of the front door opening, and then close again. I sighed in relief as Ash opened the closet door.

"How did you escape?" I asked Ash as we picked up the broken glass from some of the window in his room that got shattered.

"Honestly, I don't know. I mean I was in my bathroom getting ready, when I saw something pass by out of the corner of my eye. I went out the other door just as the glass shattered." He told me, putting the last piece of glass in the garbage bag. Cat has taken this too far. She was beyond jealous. It was like her jealousy was on acid. I could tell that Ash knew we had to put Operation Catherine into action. We put up Duct Tape over the missing glass, and then sat down on the bed. I turned to him. He was off looking at the poorly fixed window.

"Ash?" He turned towards me. "It's time." He nodded and stood up.

I watched as he paced back and forth with his hands behind his back. He stopped like he was about to say something, then shook his head and went back to pacing. I laid back on the bed and closed my eyes. This was harder than I thought. How were we going to catch Cat? I growled in frustration. I felt the bed move. I looked over to see Ash lying next to me.

"Think of anything?" He asked, staring at the ceiling.

I shook my head. "Nope." I replied, popping the 'p' at the end. He sighed then turned on his belly; his head facing away from me, and laid his right arm across me. I ran my hands up and down his arm, as if I were petting them.

He moaned. "That's so relaxing." I chuckled. He turned his head back to me. His hand squeezed my side as he pulled me closer. I looked over at him. He looked back at me not saying anything. He could be such a creeper sometimes. He would just stare at me for not reason. I silently laughed.

"Jen?" He asked me. I looked at his face before I answered. When I saw he was calm, I spoke.

"Hmmm?" I replied. He looked like he was about to say something but then dropped it.

"I love you." He answered back. I knew that was not what he was going to say, but it still felt nice to hear. Those words made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

I smiled up at him. "I love you too." I said back. Now I was curious of what he was going to say.

"Jennifer, let's just go to the police." I looked up at Ash. He was cooking breakfast while I sat at the kitchen table.
